Chapter 2

Who enters the store and what do they buy?
Becca's Bimbo Beam (Complete)
Becca ran down the street as fast as she could. She had to get away. Away from them. It had been so humiliating. How could they do that to her?
She’d always had a crush on Cody, but she felt he was way out of her league. She was plain, but he was gorgeous. There wasn’t much special about her, at least physically. Intellectually she was brilliant, but guys didn’t seem to go for that. At least not guys like Cody. They were both in university on scholarships, but while hers was academic, he was there to play basketball. They’d only met because his coach needed him to get his grades up to keep playing and Becca needed the money from tutoring.
When Cody had invited her out on a date she had been thrilled. She must have been wrong about him, he did value her for her brains. Except that turned out not to be true at all, when she’d shown up he was already with another girl, and pretended not to know who she was. Then a bunch of the cheerleaders started to make fun of her, he joined in. It was awful.
She could live with the cheerleaders mocking her, she was used to that kind of behaviour. But she thought he was different, she thought they’d become friends during those tutoring sessions. She was so angry she just kept running, not paying attention to where she was. Suddenly she tripped and fell down.
She wanted to just lie on the ground forever, but she knew she couldn’t. Slowly she picked herself up and dusted herself off. Looking around she didn’t recognize this part of town. She pulled out her phone to check where she was but she’d smashed it when she felt. “Just great.” She said to herself. She’d have to go into a store and ask for help.
Looking up she was in front of a store called Celestial Delights. She’d never heard of it, but she didn’t recognize anything else around here anyway. They must have a phone at the very least. She opened the door and headed inside. There she saw shelves of random things. It almost seemed like a thrift store, except everything was new. There was no order to anything, on the shelf closest to her she could see pots and pans, a vacuum cleaner, one very realistic looking dildo and dozens of table lamps.
“Is everything alright Miss? You seem upset.” Becca turned to the voice. A tall woman with blonde hair was standing there. She hadn’t heard her approach. She was dressed all in white with a cross hanging prominently from her neck, “My name is Didi, and this is my shop.”
“Our shop!” Someone else yelled. Becca looked behind Didi and saw another woman with crimson red hair apparently wearing a witch costume standing behind a cash register.
“Yes yes, our shop,” Didi conceded, “Are you looking for anything in particular?”
Becca held out her smashed phone, “Not unless you can fix phones. I tripped and smashed mine. Actually I came in because I’m lost, can I use your phone to call for help? Or even if you could just give me directions.”
Didi frowned, “Oh no! Poor thing. Here, let me see…hmm…actually my friend, Vivi, can fix this for you no problem, right Vivi?” The red headed woman snorted but came over and held out her hand. Didi tried reassuring Becca, “It’s alright. Trust me. She really can fix it.”
Well it was smashed anyway, so she handed it to Vivi. The red head looked at it, “Alright. Give me a few minutes, you can browse the store while you wait.” Without another word she headed off into a back room.
Didi took Becca’s hand, “Now dear, something tells me you didn’t just trip because you have two left feet. Why don’t you tell me what the problem is? It may sound strange, but I sell the cure for everything here. No matter what your problem is, we can fix it.”
Becca wanted to tell her. She wanted to just spill her guts. This was the perfect time to do it, she was far from home and she’d never see this woman again. Still, she couldn’t bring herself to do it, “Oh um. Thank you. Sorry, I can just look around while I wait.”
Didi shook her head, “Nonsense, something is troubling you. Why don’t you tell me about it? I see your hesitation but think of it this way, I’m a total stranger to you. I have no reason to judge you and don’t know anyone who knows what to say. I’m the perfect person to vent to.”
Well she was right, that had been exactly what Becca was thinking. Fine, whatever, if she wants to know so badly Becca would talk, “Well you see there’s this boy, Cody…” Becca totally lost track of time as she told Didi all about her crush on Cody and how they’d gotten to know each other through tutoring. How she thought her intelligence and personality had finally won over a guy despite her plain appearance. How he’d used the crush to mock her and why she’d been running so far from home.
Didi kept nodding along, patiently listening. When Becca was done she smiled, “You know Becca, I think I can help you out. It may be hard to believe, but this is a magic shop. Real magic. Items here have the power to bend reality to your will. I can think of two items which could help you.
First, they say the best **** is a life well lived. I have a potion of confidence. It won’t make Cody like you, or those mean girls. Even if you are confident they will still be too shallow to understand you. But it will give you the confidence to no longer care about them. You’ll be able to focus on yourself and your own talents and I’m sure you will have amazing success in life. The potion is permanent, so you will be set for life.
The second item is a little more…cathartic. I call it a bimbo beam. It’s pretty simple, aim it at your target and pull the trigger. It fires a laser that changes the target. You can hit the same person multiple times, every shot will bring them closer and closer to a true bimbo. The target won’t feel anything, but they might still see you pointing it and react appropriately, so be careful not to get caught.
Oh, and the gun has a small feedback loop. Basically the more you shoot it, you’ll find yourself changing too. The changes always start with the physical before any mental effects appear, so you should have about 50 shots before you notice yourself getting slower.”
Maybe if she had been presented with that choice the following day, after she’d calmed down, maybe then she’d have taken the high road. Maybe if she’d taken a few more seconds to think about the consequences she would have resisted the temptation for ****. Maybe.
Instead all she could think about was aiming that gun at Cody’s smug face and blasting him over and over, “I’ll take the gun, how much?”
Didi grinned, “You know what? You can have it for free. I want to see those bullies punished as much as you do. Consider it a gift.”
Becca didn’t stop to question Didi’s motives, she accepted the gift with thanks and left the store. It was time for ****.
Who does she use it on first?
