Beatrice

"Hey, new girl!"

Sana stopped in front of the door to her first class of the day and turned to see who had spoken to her. She'd hoped to get through her first day, at least, relatively unnoticed, but she guessed that was an unrealistic expectation.

She turned and faced the girl who had spoken. She was beautiful and, gauging by her designer outfit, rich. Great. Rich and beautiful meant popular, and for some reason it was the popular girls who'd always tormented Sana the most.

"What's your name new girl?" The rich girl said.

"Um, uh, I'm Sana."

"I'm Beatrice," the girl held out her hand.

As soon as their hands touched, Beatrice gripped hard. Too hard for Sana to break free.

"You should know, new girl, that I'm the queen around here, and with my queen's touch I can completely control you. Say, 'I understand, my Queen.'"

"I understand, my Queen." Sana said, and then clapped a hand over her mouth, shocked she'd spoken at all.

"Now, there's no reason we can't be friends, but I'm going to lay some ground rules. First off, I might need to give you some more commands later and my power works through touch, so whenever I say your name, you'll come to me and give me a hug no matter what you're doing.

"Second, you're very pretty, do you know that Sana? Don't answer. I hate other pretty girls. I don't want you distracting any of the boys at this school from me. So you won't speak or communicate with any boys at this school except your teachers. If a boy tries to talk to you, you'll just ignore him until he goes away.

"And third, you will meet me here before school everyday so I can reinforce may commands and give you new ones if I want.

"Now, with that out of the way, tell me why you came to my school in the middle of your senior year."

Immediately, even as she started to talk, Sana could feel herself starting to glow with the remembered embarrassment of all her humiliations at school.

"I came here because I was being bullied too much at my old school and my parents..."

"Wait, who cares about that, tell me why you're glowing! Do you have light powers?"

"I can't control it, I glow when I'm feeling humiliated or embarrassed, that's my super power."

"Hahaha! That's hilarious! What a shitty power! Is that really all you can do?"

"If I get embarrassed enough," Sana said, glowing even brighter, "I start to float, too."

"Well," Beatrice said with a big smile, "I think I'm going to have to see that. We have class together now, and I'm going to make you humiliate yourself..."
