Minions

Minion refers to creatures created by dungeons, including those of The Namless King. These don’t have genitals, so they can’t reproduce, a fact magic cannot change. They also don’t need to eat or drink and don’t succumb to illness naturally, and don’t naturally age either. They are however controlled by and dependent on the dungeon core that created them. Should it be destroyed, they wither and die immediately.

Most minions are of limited sentience/intelligence at best, although exceptions are known to occur. They follow the order of the dungeon core, which in turn follows the orders of its master, the dungeon master.

The minions of The Nameless King closely resemble minotaurs, are about 2m (6”7’) tall, bursting with muscles, covered in a thick, protective hide complete with fluffy fur and have the head of a bull, complete with strong horns. Their two eyes can’t see very well, but their hearing and sense of smell are extraordinary. They also can instinctively navigate labyrinths, especially the dungeon that created them.

In terms of raw combat ability, they can easily overpower a normal human, even when unarmed. Against a trained and well-equipped soldier or ranged combatants however, they will struggle. If equipped with protective gear and heavy hitting, easy to use weapons such as an axe, a minion’s combat potential will increase drastically.
