Be honest

After a quick thought, you realized it’s best to come clean. After explaining why you got the power and how you came into the thief’s pocket mentally, the elf’s eyes calmed. She seemed to know you weren’t lying, and only got here through a series of events that weren’t you’re fault. You felt funny, before you saw the scenery shift.

“I teleported you to my bag. Keep it down in there.” You heard the elf say telepathically. So you did. After a while, she paid for her drink, got up, and walked out. After she got far enough away from people, she pulled you out.

“Okay, so I need to study for my magic exam on applied psychic abilities.” She started. “If you can help me pass with flying colors, I’ll give you anything. Heck, even a week as me.”

She explained that she procrastinated and it’s now due tomorrow. It also doesn’t help that her teacher is a strict human, despite her being younger than most elven students at her magic academy, she has a better grasp at magic than most others.

She teleported to what seemed like a dungeon cell, except with more books and a comfier bed. She put you in a jar with some pretzels (probably from the pub), and a thimble of water. She then flopped down onto her bed, fast asleep.

Using the pretzels and the empty thimble, you managed to get out of the jar, and looked around. Her spell-book was open, but you couldn’t understand a word. You looked over to the sleeping elf and wondered if you could study if you were her, or even use magic as her. You also saw a map, which had the teacher’s room marked down, apparently for an end of the year prank. You also thought you could enter her teacher to give her more time, or even a passing grade.
