Batwoman’s on the hunt

Shadowcrest Mansion, Zatanna’s own place of residence. Dark and somewhat abandoned in the perverted world order. Likely because Zatanna has moved to the Master’s own mansion, leaving her old home abandoned.

Pressing her finger to her earpiece she got online with Huntress.

“This is quite a risk Huntress, are you sure this will be helpful?” she asked over the comm. Ever since the Master had taken over the entire planet Huntress had been put in charge of whatever was left of the Justice League. It wasn’t much and they were **** to deal with villains to face a greater evil. She may feel dirty dealing with the criminals but they had a common enemy, the common enemy whom had turned Maggie into a streetwalker, given the world had little need of detectives as there were few who wanted to go against their despot’s law.

“It can’t hurt to know how he did this, it may provide some way to reverse this” explained Huntress “plus we need to know if he’s got any tricks up his sleeve, and this tactic may reveal them”

“Okay going in” she muttered, grappling across to the Manor and swinging into an open window and landing quietly. She didn’t there was anyone else here but she wouldn’t take the risk.

Sneaking through the manor she realised that it never seemed to have been touched since the event, possibly and oversight. Still something felt off and unnerving as she went into the open hall, on the ground she noticed a open book upside down on the ground. Picking it up she saw a picture of a woman submissively serving a man. At the base she saw the words

“Obdeius Sexus Dominatious” she muttered, taking a photo of the book she considered dusting for fingerprints but it was too long. Fascinating. Though this spell may have been how the Master had taken control of Zatanna, it said to be more effective against magic users. This was likely how the Master had taken control of Zatanna.

It was strange to develop a sense of respect for the Master but he had done well to take the power he did. Still though Mera had provided her with a little trinket to track magical teleports, and it wouldn’t hurt to take a look.
