Battle in the Centre of the Supermind

Superman passed out almost immediately after crying for help. Before Lois could do anything to follow his wishes, the guards came into the room at Mindy's command. Instantly acting like she was terrified, even shaking a little as she spoke, "Help! Lane came in here and sprayed Superman with some kind of poison or something. Take here away and lock her up for the attempted **** of Superman!"

The men pounced on Lois as they dragged her away, one of them remained to ask, "What do we do with Superman?"

"We take him back to my mansion so I can nurse him back to health." said the blond mayor, as she hoped she could place the hero back under her spell.

Inside the mind of the hero...

Clark looked at where he was, which was strange. He was in his normal red and blue, standing in what looked like downtown Smallville. Except in from of him was Metropolis, or at least a darker, grimier version of it. The small village and the large city merged at a point down the middle, like pair of roommates split a room in a site come.

In the Metropolis half, was... himself. Dressed in the black and silver of the costume Mindy gave him. The other version of him smirked as he said, "Look who it is. Mister Goody-two shoes. Mister holier then thou. Mister Dull. Back to prevent us from having any fun! Stomping me down... except this time I'll be the one to stomp you down. Then Mindy and me can have everything we deserve!"

Clark realized this was himself, the version which Mindy was trying to make. All the dark impulses which he had pushed to the back of his mind, made stronger thanks to the perfume and red kryptonite. He also realized where he was.

"We're inside my head." he answered his dark doppelganger.

"No duh! We both have about half of control of our brain. Thanks to my lovely Mindy, I finally have a chance to kick you out of the driver seat. So..." commented the Dark Superman, as he charged instantly at superspeed to slam his fist at full strength into Clark's face, "Ready to lose?"
