Bathe and relax.

At least, you can rest your aching body. Your muscles relax. With all that just happened, you also feel incredibly relieved. A weight has left you, especially from your balls, but there's also just a lack of tension in the air that was between both Trin and Malakae prior to the game. While they still don't sit adjacent--silver on your right, gold on your left--they seem at ease. As you lean back, Delphi floats in front of you on her back. She can do so with incredible ease given her weight, and her wingspan beneath her serving almost like a pool floatie. Steam wafts up from the clean, hot water. The room smells great, both because of the natural spring running through, but also Yin's incredible job at keeping all of Castle Phoenix tidy.

You're not sure how much time passes by, but you enjoy every moment of it.

Eventually, however, there's a drum at the door. "Are you in there, Trin?" comes the voice of William.

It seems the silver dragon was just as lost to the allure of the steam as you were. She sits up straight and calls back, "I am! We're just taking a bath."

"We, plural? I see. May I come in?"

"Sure--"

"No!" Malakae blurts out. "You may not come in."

"Ah. I see," William responds. "You're in there with the gold dragon. We should leave soon, Trin. There are some things I'd like to do in the area before we head back to Laputa. Caleena knows to float the fortress back in this general direction, so after all is said and done, we should be able to fly back in little time, especially with your speed. And be sure to thank Kyle for his hospitality."

"I will! He's in here right now," Trin replies.

"... Oh. Interesting."

"D-Don't worry. He's been a real gentleman."

"That's good to hear. Don't keep Trin too much longer, all right Kyle? With Elok Daven and Breiah still out there, we can't afford to lounge about all day."

"Don't worry about that," you say. "I think I want to visit Lord Barkis' tower next. I don't know where any other chairman lives, so maybe he's home."

"Wise. I'll leave you to it then. Again, Trin. Finish up and meet me near the gates." Then with that, his footfalls disappear into the distance.

Trin looks to you with pink in her cheeks. "Ehehe. He doesn't control me or anything, but maybe I shouldn't tell him all we did today," she says quietly. Then as she stares at you, her eyes begin to water. "I j-just remembered I lost my flute again!"

You smile and run your fingers down the back of her neck as you hold her close. "Hey, hey. Like I said before, you'll get another, or even something better."

Malakae then touches her fingers to your back.

You look over. "Are you all right?"

"... She isn't special. I've lost things as well, you know."

"Don't be clingy," Trin says.

"I am not being clingy!" Malakae yells.

Delphi looks up at you with hands behind her head, floating without a care in the world. From the girls starting to move about, the ripples start sending her away. "This was a good day," she whispers.
