Bakugo gets taken down another peg.

"That was a splendid showing, minus a few issues, but all in all, that was a well fought match!" All Might said to the four as they returned.

"A "few issues" is a nice way of saying that one of you in particular is a hot headed idiot, in case it wasn't clear," Momo remarked, looking squarely at Bakugo.

"Huh!? What the hell are you talking about!?" Bakugo snarled at her.

"I mean you basically risked your own base when you fired off that blast. The match ended before All Might could verbally penalize you for it though," Momo rolled her eyes. "Not to mention you didn't even try to stop Mina from going after the bomb, instead focusing solely on an opponent who any idiot could tell was just there to distract you, and you walked right into it. Furthermore, you completely failed to make any kind of strategy with your teammate, instead leaving him to guard the bomb without any kind of consultation. Iida just had to go along with it."

"That's true... It would have been better for him to guard the bomb while Iida went on offense," Izuku added his own two cents. "Iida's Quirk is well suited for harassing and picking off enemy intruders with measured guerilla tactics... But I knew how his teammate would act, and exploited it," Izuku explained.

"Ah, yes, going on offense and using hit and run means of wearing you both down was indeed what I would have suggested, but Bakugo left me with the bomb without even hearing it," Iida sighed.

"That said, Iida did pretty well himself, making the best of the situation he was stuck in, and adapting as best as he could," Momo continued. "He was really just unfortunate to be up against someone who could exploit his abilities and their mostly enclosed environment to cut off his advantage. I also give him points for giving it his all and trying a last ditch effort despite the unlikelihood of it working."

"I wouldn't say it was unlikely," Mina admitted as she chuckled a bit. "He really did almost have me there, if I had reacted a little slower, he would have clobbered me. I honestly should have expected him to get a little ****."

"Erm, right," All Might sweat dropped at how the students had effectively steamrolled his own assessment. Bakugo was seething, both at the fact that he was being criticized, and the realization that he couldn't refute it at all, and Iids seemed sheepishly pleased to be getting praised despite having lost. "So, while I suspect I already know the answer, who do you all think was the MVP of the exercise?" All Might asked, getting back on his own track.

"Midoriya, no question!" Kirishima declared. "He was quite manly to go head to head with a dangerous opponent as a distraction while his teammate did the task of securing their victory! Not to mention, he came up with the whole game plan!"

"I'm inclined to agree," Jiro nodded, giving Izuku look he couldn't quite identify. "There's much more than meets the eye with him indeed."

Izuku wondered what she meant by that as All Might proceeded to move on with the remaining tests. Of the highlights, one of Izuku's classmates, Todoroki basically curb stomped the opposing villain team when his and his teammate had their turns, just freezing the whole damn building, and their feet to the floor casually. Momo and Mineta were villains for their own trial, and they successfully held off the Heros in that case, Momo basically barricading and booby trapping the room they kept the bomb in, Mineta actually being helpful by leaving his sticky balls on the floor around the bomb to make a quick approach to it difficult. He did still sneak a few glances Momo's way, but he didn't dare anything more than that after Izuku's warning. And Ochaco managed to work decently with Aoyama, and got to the bomb at the last minute in their trial.

"Excellent! Well done, all of you!" All Might praised the class once it was all done. "I'll be sending your homeroom teacher the footage for review, and further feedback! Until next class!" he declared, before running off, leaving all but Izuku bemused.

"...he seems to like the spotlight, but only in small doses," he chuckled to the classes as an explanation. His thoughts turned towards the direction All Might had gone though, wondering if he could manage his muscle form for a little longer today... He had some secrets between himself, All Might, Momo and Ochaco he wanted to get off his chest, and wanted both his girlfriends present.
