You looked down at the ground beneath you. It was a two story drop, and if you fucked up, you'd most likely break a leg or, worst-case scenario, die. "Hey, a cute girl was just rubbing my ass with magic, so how can I fail? Besides, the worst I can do is die, right?" You replied, attempting to make a joke.

Alena looked at you blankly "Do not make light of this situation. We must jump at the same time, and in the same direction!" You didn't comment on how she basically ignored your joke, instead you simply nodded in understanding. "Alright, let us begin! One! Two! THREE!" The edgelord raised her bandaged hand as she counted, you readying yourself to jump. You took off running.

But suddenly, Alena stopped right in front of you. "Wait, did you just call me cu- GACK!" You rammed into the stopped edgelord, knocking her over the edge as you fell along with her. Both of you screaming at the top of your lungs. You watched as Alena fell right on top of a bush, the leaves breaking her fall and preventing any injuries. You, however, landed directly onto your feet, "Oh shit-" Your legs immediately buckled, and you fell ass first onto the pavement.

You let out a grunt of pain before sitting up, rubbing your backside. You glanced over toward Alena, who was sitting up, slightly dazed but seemingly alright. Alena got up, turning toward you with a worried expression "Are you alri-" Alena cut herself short upon noticing that her mask was missing. Her hand instinctively shot up to her face to cover it, but stopped upon noticing that you were staring directly at her. Alena's face was littered with burn scars, specifically on the left side, where there was a hole in her cheek. You remained silent as you stared at Alena's face.

The edgelord's eyes darted to the ground, refusing to meet your own as she covered her face.
