Back with Zack and Lisa

Zack had just said something he would never had thought he would say again to Lisa Rivera. He had just asked her to stay with him while he was practically naked, he understood what the implications of saying that were. When Lisa agreed that he didn't need pants after all, he didn't know how to feel. The past day had been confusing and exhausting, the last thing that he expected on this day was to be naked in a room with Lisa once again. He still felt guilty over how their relationship had started to crumble, he of course was solely at fault. He had been invited to Ashley's birthday party and had drunk way too much, somehow he found himself in a closet, where another person was. He was so drunk, and had no rational judgment left, when he found out that the person in the closet with him was a girl, they started at it. Lisa had caught them coming out of the closet, and pulled Zack away and berated him. Zack didn't remember much of that conversation due to his inebriation, although what he remembered was a tremendous amount of shouting, and Lisa crying. Zack could never remember who was in the closet with him, and even though Lisa had seen who the mystery girl was, she had never told him.

Since then, Lisa and Zack's relationship had been on the rocks, and Zack had been spending more and more time away from Lisa and more with his other friends. Zack now realized that it wasn't the right thing to do, and he hoped that he had matured at least a little bit from that disappointing point in his life. Lisa saw the way Zack looked at Vicky, which hadn't been the way he looked at her for a while. She finally realized that the love in the relationship was gone, so she ended it. The last few weeks of their relationship had been painful for both parties, along with their friends, who could tell what was happening , but didn't want to get involved in other people's personal affairs.

"Zack, I can't do this again. I know that I still have feelings for you, but I've been trying to suppress them."

"Why? I mean I know why, we don't have to do anything."

"You just asked me to stay in a room with you when you're not wearing pants, Zack, I would be embarrassed if you weren't thinking what I thought you were thinking." Zack blushed

"Honestly, I don't know why I told you to stay, maybe it was so that I could apologize to you face to face."

"It's been a while Zack, you don't need to apologize." Zack got up off the bed and walked to Lisa and held onto her arms and stared into her face.

"Lisa. I'm sorry for everything! For being a jerk, for not spending time with you during the last weeks we were together, when we both needed each other. I'm sorry for sleeping with that girl at Ashley's party, I was so drunk, I sill don't remember who it was. By the way, you knew who it was don't you?"

"I do know who it is Zack, but I'm sure you know who it was."

"I don't know. Does she know?"

"No, she's was pretty out of it too."

"Lisa tell me who it was, I need closure. Who did I ruin what we had for? I need to know if it was worth all the pain I caused you, and all the pain that I suffered being away from you."

"You're a real sweet talker you know that." She smiled up at him. Zack was blown away by her beauty again.

"Don't do that to me Lisa." He turned away from her

"Do what?" She asked

"You're still so beautiful to me, my heart stops when you smile at me like that. I don't want to do anything I'll regret."

"If we're thinking the same thing, I doubt either of us will regret it. This may be the closure we both desperately need." She said as she reached out to grab his arm and turn him back to face her.

"Lisa, I don't deserve you. I've hurt you, I.."

"Shh." She said as she kissed him and pushed back onto the bed. "I'm acknowledging my buried feelings and acting on them Zack, there shouldn't be anything left when we're done. I need this to be the last of us Zack, I need it.." She said as she started crying into Zack's hungry kiss.
