Back in the Common Room

Back in the Gryffindor common room you started to reflect the fact you had been picked for the Quidditch team, you were sat on a settee with Harry, Ron and Hermione having conversations about lesson you wanted to break the news of being a Chaser for the Quidditch team but you noticed something. You picked a piece of paper that was lying on the table in front of you.

"Hey look at this." You said grabbing the attention of Harry, Ron and Hermione

It was a cutting from the Daily Prophet that read:

GRINGOTTS BREAK-IN LATEST

Investigations continue into the break-in at Gringotts on 31 July, widely believed to be the work of Dark wizards or witches unknown.

Gringotts goblins today insisted that nothing had been taken. The vault that was searched had in fact been emptied the same day.

"But we're not telling you what was in there, so keep your noses out if you know what's good for you," said a Gringotts spokesgoblin this afternoon.

You looked over at Harry he seemed to give off a knowing reaction "That Gringotts break-in happened on my birthday! It was the vault me and Hagrid went to while we were there!" said Harry "Hagrid had emptied vault seven hundred and thirteen while we were there he took out a grubby little package, Do you think that's what they were after." You Ron and Hermione looked at each other puzzled. Just before the conversation died you thought this was good as any to reveal the news.

"I have got something to tell you all," They turned towards you "I made the Gryffindor Quidditch team." Saying this and seeing Ron's face was perfect

"You're on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team, First years never make the team, We haven't even had the class yet." Said Ron his voice with a shocked tone, Ron just sat back you could tell that he was amazed.

"I have read that Quidditch is a dangerous sport" Hermione butted in on the conversation.

"It's fun though, If you can get past the bludgers," You said "Why did you mention that its dangerous, You care for me now?"

"No I don't .. I mean ye-" Hermione tried to say before you burst out laughing, Hermione's head dropped blushing.

"Well anyways this is what happened," You started to recite everything that happened after you got down to the Quidditch pitch, from Fred and George telling you to get on a broom to scoring against Oliver Wood nine times out of the ten you threw at the hoops, Wood isn't a bad keeper it was just you being a trickster against him put him off. "Well that's how it happened and now I'm the new Gryffindor Chaser."

"That's Bloody Brilliant." Were the only words to come out of Ron's mouth.
