Baby Girl

She was in a one-piece dress. The shoulders were puffy like a fairy-tale princess, the sleeves short and tight around her arms. The skirt was so short that it didn't even reach her knees, exposing a matching pink-diaper cover held together with velcro. At the end of her exposed legs were a pair of white socks and white-velcro shoes. In her curly hair was a hair-clip with a bright-pink bow nestled on it.

Much like Paulette, Stephanie's family had moved into town when she was young, though Stephanie had not lived there as long, her family had moved there after her dad got a job in town.

While acting your age wasn't against the law, playing the role of "baby" or "caregiver" was the norm. When Stephanie started going to school in town, she was in a minority of students who were potty-trained and were uninvolved with local etiquette, which did a number on a mousey Stephanie already suffering from depression and displacement moving into an all new town she wasn't familiar with. While her parents were against it, her teachers suggested allowing her to be a baby, at least in school.

Eventually, Stephanie agreed to at least wear diapers while at school. At first it was embarrassing. She even cried when she pooped herself one day during class. But she quickly adjusted and started to come out of her shell. She eventually asked her parents if she could wear them 24/7 and she remained their baby girl ever since.
