What will Justice choose as her awesome first battleground?

Awesome early breakfast!

Chapter 4 by Gatsha Gatsha

No need to hesitate. The gauntlet had already been thrown down. As far as Justice was concerned, in the battle for Helltaker, Lucifer was the final boss. Any way she sliced it, the CEO of Hell was the most eligible girlfriend among the group of trophies Helltaker had rescued from the fiery inferno. "I mean, the other girls couldn't even be bugged to wake up for early breakfast! Not my fault if those girls are asleep at the wheel, not even realizing they're losing a contest they didn't even know they were in. The first step to winning is to always assume you're in a contest."

So, if the contest had already begun, the first real battleground would be at the breakfast table. Justice threw open the door of the bathroom and held her shades to the bridge of her nose while power-walking her way to the living room, and...

She was already falling behind!

That CEO of Hell was ruthless in her acquisitions, all right... Already, Lucifer had taken a seat next to the big man of the house on the couch, in spite of all the available chairs. A pretty bold move, considering she was just wearing a black apron with her name across it and the dark lingerie from the driveway a moment ago. "Unholy cow, I was only in the bathroom for like, a minute, tops! Girl works fast. And Chef Helltaker works fast too. Then again, a guy's gotta know how to make great pancakes fast to court a high-tier woman like Lucifer."

"Ah, Justice," Lucifer acknowledged her friend with a cocky smile, crossing her legs in a pose that would be completely natural for her if she wasn't half naked and holding a fork with a speared pancake on it, flecks of chocolate scattered around her lips. "I was just savoring the first of the Helltaker's skillfully-prepared pancakes. It's so nice that we have this, he and I. Why, it's his specialty, and my favorite thing!"

"Yep, you two are a cute pair, for sure." Justice acknowledged her opponent's grin with one of her own as she took a seat on the chair at an angle to them, the closest place she could get with how Lucifer had positioned herself. "A match made in hell! Almost like a boyfriend and girlfriend, huh?"

Lucifer blushed, showing more of her teeth in a goofier grin than she ordinarily would. Even though she'd supposedly been pressing the attack, she still seemed bashful about having it stated outright. "A-almost! Yes!"

Justice crossed her arms below her bikini-clad breasts and nodded as though in approval, but she had one blind eye winked open behind her shades. "Yessir, it must be awesome having a girlfriend who can hang in the kitchen. Shame I don't have that talent, but what can you do? Not my fault kitchen appliances explode every time I touch them! I assume they do, at least. Never actually saw it happen."

The Helltaker raised an eyebrow.

Because you're blind?

>Because you don't look at explosions?

"Exactly! I knew you'd get it."

"Maybe you shouldn't be operating kitchen appliances without eyesight?" Lucifer taunted her, looking taken aback that Justice was somehow managing to turn being useless in the kitchen into a cool factor.

"Maybe you should clean up your mouth before you talk?" Justice retorted, clarifying that her lack of blindness was (somehow) in no way an impediment to her perception.

Lucifer gasped and turned away from the two others for a moment as she dabbed at her mouth with a napkin. Seizing that chance, Justice rose to her feet and strode over alongside the Helltaker, sitting on the arm of the chair next to him and tilting her shades down to show him her eyes. "So, with a cute girl in the kitchen, what's a guy need to enjoy a breakfast? A fork to eat it with, right?"

We have forks, don't we?

>Eating with your hands is fine too...

Justice raised an eyebrow and grinned as though he'd just made a joke, although he didn't understand why. The demon rose again and straightened her shades, then plucked a pancake from the plate on the table. "Well, my man, I'm about to teach you what you already know: when it comes to being a girlfriend, I'm awesome as fork!"

She only got a vacant stare in response, both from the Helltaker and the CEO, who had mostly successfully cleaned her face.

"Dude!" Justice threw her hands up, upset that everyone was being slow on the uptake. "What do you do with a fork?"

"Stab it?" Lucifer suggested, darkly and unhelpfully.

"No, you eat off it! And that's my offer. Just tell me where you want it, big guy." With her usual cheesy grin, but a victorious gleam in her curled eyes, the demon held the long, thin pancake on one palm, then ghosted across it with her other hand as though showing off a prize on a game show. "It's your breakfast and your fork, so eat it however you want. Maybe... here?" She took the pinched pancake and held it beside her hip, pulling out the edge of her bikini bottom slightly to reveal even more smooth, pale flesh at her side. "Or here?" She moved it up to pinch it vertically across her chest, smiling as she felt his gaze travel helplessly to her impressive and half-naked breasts. "Or maybe up here...?" She held the pancake before her face so she was facing along its length, then opened her lips to show her sparkling teeth. Even those parted to give an unguarded view of her enticing, rarely-seen pink tongue. Some saliva seemed to have built up in her mouth, probably just a consequence of holding a piping hot breakfast tantalizingly close without taking a bite... Still, it gave her an unusual, hungry, needy look that neither of the other two present had seen before. She quickly fixed that with her teeth closed back in her trademark toothy grin once more, however, as if daring the Helltaker to solve the puzzle of how to make her make that face again. "I know three options is a bit on the tough side for a guy like you, but take your pick. It's like a Reese's: there's no wrong way to eat it!"

"What the heck is a Reese's?" Lucifer asked with a dumbfounded expression, as though she still couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"I swear, have you eaten anything but pancakes since you got here? You've gotta try 'em. I'll buy you one later," Justice offered her opponent, still waiting for the Helltaker's response.

"Don't you dare drop that pancake," Lucifer demanded with a stormy scowl.

"Why are you chewing me out about wasting food when you had to clean half your breakfast off that cute face of yours?" Justice laughed at Lucifer's indignant response, then reset her face into her resting grin again. "Well, I don't think our buddy here is gonna let me drop anything. I think he's gonna savor every bite. You made up your mind, my man?"
