What type of opportunity does Harry experience with witches?
Attractivity Ring
During the summer before his fifth year, Harry didn’t want to be cooped up at the Dursleys’s house, so he concocted a plan.
Whenever he got the chance to sneak out, which was often as his relatives were thankfully ignoring him, Harry would put in brown colored contacts under his glasses and wear a hat to cover his scar and hair.
Then Harry would walk a good distance from his house and summon the night bus.
Fortunately for Harry, no one else seemed to have noticed his plans, allowing him to peruse Diagon Alley at his leisure.
During his second week of summer, while browsing through a used junk shop, Harry came across a small punch with a note tied to it.
Reading the note, Harry saw that the script was wavy and scribbly, but still perfectly understandable.
It wasn’t until the shop keeper came to talk to him that he knew why.
“Ah, I see ya eyen that pouch aren’cha boyo. I’ve never figured out whats it sayin or how to opener up, so I ain’t got no idea what’s in side there,” he said scratching his chin.
Looking at Harry, he offered, “Since you was lookin at it so intensely I figure I could sell it to ya for five gallons.”
“Wow, thanks mister, it does seem pretty cool even if it’s just a nicknack,” Harry told him before handing over the five gallons.
Waving in his way out, Harry tucked the pouch into his robes and commented, “By mister, have a great day,” before shutting the door behind him.
While the shopkeep though he finally sold the useless pouch as a decoration, Harry knew what was really inside.
