Attempt to remix Pearl

With your mind clear, working the problem is much easier.

You recall your first impulse before you ever found that cursed Cleanser button. Pop out a can of Goth Juice, or Emo Juice, and bottoms up. Manning the Juicer Max, you punch in all the drink mix options you think sound right.

Plan A was the smartest. You're finished with this Cleanser disaster - you'll run with your gut.

You switch all the Potency toggles, except Sexuerotic. You switch that one off. You don't want to turn Pearl into some kind of sexual parody of herself (assuming that's what the toggle does, you don't actually know). You also reduce Purity from 100% to 70% - you're not looking to overwrite Pearl into some kind of goth stereotype, but she'll need a solid dosage if she's going to get back to normal.

But before you make the drink, you survey all the lit controls again, and look back to Pearl. She stands placid and naked right just behind you.

Goth. That's not who Pearl is, is it? She's a person. More than a label.

When Pearl drank the Bimbo Juice, she turned totally, stereotypically pink and girly. Doesn't that mean drinking Goth Juice, or Emo Juice, would transform Pearl along equally stereotypical lines?

A single flavor isn't going to cut it. You need a multi-flavored drink if Pearl's ever going to return to herself again.

Painstakingly, you search the machine for some kind of blending option. After a few minutes, you find your prize.

There's a switch labeled 'MIX' next to the syrup selection. You flip it, and a little LCD screen turns on, reading GOTH 100. You try pressing the ARTS button. The LCD screen updates:

This must be the percentage mix of each. You get to work, searching through the literally hundreds of syrups the Juicer Max hides on its rotating selection face.

After almost an hour, you begin approaching something that, if it doesn't feel right, at least it doesn't feel wrong.

When you pour the drink, the little screen prompts you with a flashing message while the Juicer Max works. Save mix? Y/N

Good idea. If this doesn't work, you'll want to revisit the formula. It'll be faster to start from where you left off than step zero. You press Y. The screen asks you to name the new syrup mix, so you type in PEARL, which the machine automatically abbreviates to PERL in the databse.

The Juicer Max is satisfied, and the drink is ready. You scoop the can - labeled Pearl Juice - and give it to the still-naked Pearl.

You pop the tab, and urge it to her lips. You press your hands over hers, worried Pearl might spill it on her own.

"This should turn you back," you say, more to yourself than Pearl.

She sucks down the entire can, like all the others.

You take a big step back and hold your breath as the juice works its magic on your friend.
