At the bottom.

You finally reach the end of the staircase, your eyes glance around as you look around. Inside the mountain, a giant cavern has opened up. Looks like some of it was formed with the mountain, other parts were man-made. In the distance you can hear some steel on steel weapons bouncing off each other, ringing their echoes throughout the walls. You hear water falling from not too far away and you also think you can hear a very soft moaning coming from around the same direction.

"This place is amazing." is all you manage to get out.

Steel torches still hook from the walls, giving plenty of light in the cavern. Looking up you see many Stalagmites covering the ceiling, as well as some on the walls. It almost gives it a somewhat eerie feeling. So beautiful, yet so terrifying.

"Hey Lexie!" you hear a female voice causing you to snap out of your daze.

"Hey Rynlee, Hey Drax!" Lexie says back.

You see two warriors walking up toward you and Lexie. Drax almost looks exactly like how Sir Trillian looked. A somewhat comedic look to him. Smaller in height at only maybe 5 foot 7 inches, but huuuge arms. His chest was extremely massive as well. He had no hair on his head, shaved bald and just wore some leather pants. Rynlee on the other hand, looked very similar to Lexie. Around the same height at 5 foot 5inches, dark brown hair tied back in a pony tail. She had the same five layers of blue beads tied in her pony tail that Lexie has. She also had a darker type of eye shadow causing her eyes to pop from her face. Her body, just as toned, athletic and muscular as Lexie. It made you think, do all the male warriors have big as fuck upper bodies that look like they could rip you apart and do all the female warriors look like sexual warrior goddesses? You did notice a few other similar looking warriors as you strolled through the Syndicate and down into the mountain.

Rynlee & Lexie give each other a hug as Drax walks up to you.

"Who is the puny new guy?" Drax says with a chuckle, looking up into your eyes

"Uhhh..." you start

"Awww..." Rynlee interrupts "Be nice." She looks at you with a smile

"Darien." Lexie tells them for you "He's with me. He's from..." she pauses briefly, hesitating "Uhh...he's from Rathkin."

Drax's eyebrows suddenly curve down "What? What is he doing here? In our mountain?"

"Possibly joining us..." Lexie replies back

"Rathkin joining the Syndicate? Hahahaha" Drax guffaws "Rathkin warriors are trash!"

"Geez, why are you being such a dick?" you retort "I just finished up in Nillix and I didn't want to go back to Rathkin, I wanted to see more of the world. I wanted to experience what the Syndicate has. I wanted to experience the city."

"With the way Lexie is swaying in her step I'm guessing you did more than experience just the city..." Rynlee teases which causes Lexie to just grin back at her friend "Come on Drax, let's leave them be." Her arms wrap around his bicep "Plus, since Lexie fucked him, he should be trustworthy."

Drax just grunts, his eyes never leaving yours. "Doesn't Lexie fuck a lot of peo..."

"Don't you finish that sentence." Lexie interrupts Drax

Rynlee can't help but chuckle "Lexie isn't the only one, fight and fuck, the life of a Sunrider!" The girls smile at each other "Anyway, we're going to go soak in the springs to calm our muscles, see ya around Lexie!" Rynlee gives her another hug "Nice to meet you Darien" she gives you a wave as they turn around and head off in the direction where you hear water falling.

"Springs?" you question, watching Rynlee & Drax walk away

"Underground, natural hot springs." Lexie replies "Perfect place to calm your muscles..." She twirls a strand of hair through her fingers "Or a perfect place to release some tension after a hard day of training..." she grins at you.

It's at that point, Lexie's eye catch a female figure walking in the distance. "Oooo" her body brightens up "I believe Ashe is going to the tavern." her cheeks redden up slightly

"Ashe?" you question, noticing Lexie's voice perked up a bit as she said that.

"We have our leader, and then three high commanders for the Sunriders." she begins "She is one of those three. I'm guessing she just got done with a sparring session with the other high commanders."

You didn't get a good look at the female figure, but from what you recall, Commander Rixx did say Claire was in charge of the sunriders. If this is one of their high commanders, she obviously must know Claire.

"Soooo...." Lexie begins, "Straight to the training grounds? We could go see some of the local merchants or travelers at the local pub down here, grab a quick bite to eat since we've been walking for some time now, we could check out the hot springs or I could take you to The Pit, if you really want to view the depths of the mountain."
