The Pit

"The Pit? Color me intrigued!" your eyes dash toward Lexie

Lexie lets out a puff of air "Why do I even bring the pit up anymore..."

"I bet it's awesome." you gleam a smile "Why is it called The Pit? What happens there? How far away is it? Can we go now?" you rattle off so many questions

"It's a pit." Lexie rolls her eyes, looking annoyed "It's just a god damn, big, deep, dark pit."

"Well...if you put it that way..." you start "I...I'd still like to..."

"Fine!" she cuts you off "Let's go see The Pit!"

"Yeehaw!" you cheerfully yell "I can't believe how excited I am about this."

This so called Pit isn't so far away actually, you walk down a nicely shaped man made cut out hallway through the rock for a couple hundred paces. Lexie comes to a stop and turns to her left, you can see a giant gash in the mountain wall, almost like a lightning bolt pierced through the mountain. It is a big enough hole to fit maybe 4 or 5 people side by side in it as well, you can tell at least the entrance to this so called "Pit" is all formed from the mountain, besides the couple of steel torches at the pathway inside.

"Right through here..." Lexie says
