At the beach

Anna had never been to the beach before, but she wanted to try it out. Her teacher Madam Gauthier often told the girls not to or if they did to wear a one piece just like their own leotards.

Additionally, Anna was put on a very strict no carbs no sugar diet. Anna sighed. “It’s not like she’s going to see me,” Anna said. “I deserve a cheat day anyway.”

Her best friend Kelsey nodded. “Absolutely. And look maybe you can ask one of those cute guys out,” Kelsey said pointing at a couple of toned guys.

Anna scrunched her nose. “Oh no, Madam Gauthier says…”

“Oh hush,” Kelsey said. “You need to live your life rather than be stuck under her thumb. And like you said she’ll never know.”

Anna scanned the crowd of men and blushed as she spotted her crush. Out of all the guys he had dark hair and wore glasses. She knew him as part of the geek squad. He was handsome but by no means a jock.

“Anna?” Kelsey asked and then noticed her look. “Oh, I see. Checking out Zach, huh? You know he doesn’t have a girlfriend. He’s completely available to you if you ask him out.”

Anna gulped. “But… ugh…”

“Just ask him if he wants to get ice cream with you,” Kelsey said.

“Ice cream? But…”

“Come on, no one’s going to know,” Kelsey said.
