Ask about the rope and girl

Talking to the girl who Amanda seems to hate immensely would only hurt her opinion of you, so with that in mind you decide the best option is to keep talking Amanda. Not quite sure what exactly to ask you figure to start with the most burning question you currently have.

“So what’s the rope in your bag for?”

Amanda quickly pivots around towards you making sure the rope is still in her bag before looking at you.

“Snoopy much.” She replies.

“No… well not intentionally. I just happened to see it in your bag. So why do you have it?”

Amanda stares at you, seeming to decide whether or not to believe you. “If I tell you,” she eventually says, “you can’t say anything. If you do tell someone it will not end well for you, understand.”

“I understand, so can I know what it’s for?”

“Well you see that little shit over there, she decided to snitch on me and got me sent to the basement. So I figure why don’t I return the favor.”

“What did she snitch on you doing?” You inquire, deciding it’s best to know more before doing anything else.

“Chewing gum in this class, Mrs. Harlow doesn’t believe proper ladies should have gum in class so when the little goodie two shoes sees me start chewing some what does she do, she tells Mrs. Harlow.”

Staring at Amanda you can’t decide how to feel about what she said. On one hand snitching on someone is pretty shitty, especially for something that meaningless such as chewing gum. But on the other without knowing more about the other girl you can’t decide what exactly to do.

“Hey,” Amanda says to you, breaking your train of thought. “How would you like to help me teach her after class what happens to snitches?”
