You tap on the app menu, exploring the interface. Your fingertips, extended by the long pink acrylic nails, clumsily navigate the screens. Everything seems so much more complicated than it did this morning when your IQ was normal.

You find the "My Profile" section, which displays a rotating 3D model of your new body. Every detail is perfect—from your platinum blonde extensions to your glossy pink lips and the outfit you're currently wearing. Tags float around the model, listing active modifications:

You quickly lock the phone and slip it into your tiny purse. "Totally done! Just, like, checking my likes and stuff."

"Good girl," he says approvingly, and your body responds with a warm flush at his praise. "Let's get these bags to the car, then we can head to Pulse. I've texted Jamie—he's excited to meet you."

Clara claps her hands excitedly. "Riley's debut night! This is going to be so much fun!"
