“So Ryan this is Duncan I hope you don’t mind me inviting him” Ashley finally breaking the silence. “Oh hey man nice to meet you” you said awkwardly while extending your hand. “You too man” Duncan said in deep voice with grin on his face reaching his hand to yours to shake. His grip was stronger and more firm and hands were big as well. You could see Ashley smirking at your discomfort and Duncan’s confidence. You found yourself blushing at Ashley’s reaction to the whole thing before stopping yourself.

“Well I guess I should show you both to the pool” you said nervously. You started to the backyard before you heard Ashley tell you something. “Hey Ryan where’s the restroom I need to change first” Ashley asked. “Oh I ll show you where it’s at?” You told her as you walked in front of her and lead the way to the restroom. “Hey where is the pool” Duncan asked you. “Just right out that door” you pointed to a door that lead to the backyard. “Alright I got my stuffy ready so I’ll just wait for you two”Duncan told you two. “Alright we won’t be too long” Ashley said in a flirty tone. Duncan chuckled and smirked at her and said “see you soon girl”.

Duncan proceeded towards the door as and you lead Ashley to the bathroom. “Thanks again for inviting me Ryan” Ashley told you. “It’s no problem” you responded. Ashley asked “so what do you think of Duncan”. “He’s cool I guess” you told her in your best attempt to conceal your jealousy. Ashley chuckled at your response “so who else did you invite Ryan” she asked. “Just Anna” you told her. “Oh really is she coming” she asked in what seemed genuinely interested voice. “No she can’t make it” you told her. “Oh is she still mad at me” Ashley she in a mocking tone. “No she’s just busy this weekend” you said defensively. You and her made it to the bathroom door. “Well I’ll get changed and I ll meet you two at the pool” Ashley told you while opening the door before closing it.

You headed to the pool to wait with Duncan. Getting to the backyard you saw him waiting by the pool. You sat on a chair near him, “you got a nice place man” Duncan told you. “Thanks man” you responded “yeah it ain't too far from the campus you get some girls here man” Duncan said in a cocky voice. “Speaking of which that Ashley girl is a fucking smoke-show” Duncan told you. “You ain’t wrong there” you told him, you couldn’t really disagree with his statement. As you two talked you heard the door open and saw Ashley come out towards the pool.
