Ashley needs to clear her head

Ashley entered the kitchen quickly, placing the bottles of wine on the bar.

"Hey Babe!" Brandon greeted her.

"I gotta run to the bathroom," she replied not even turning to look at him.

She was so out of it, she didn't think to knock or listen before entering the bathroom so she was surprised and embarrassed when she saw Zack.

"Oh Zack, I'm so sor..."

"No worries, I was just washing my hands. You're okay."

He looked at the expression on her face.

"You're not okay. what's going on?"

Zack took her hand and pulled her into the bathroom for some privacy.

"Just this whole day is a mess."

"Look Ash, I'm sure there is nothing going on between Brandon and Heather, but regardless, this isn't you. When have you ever been insecure, moping, hiding from everyone."

Ashley looked up at him.

"Don't worry Chloe didn't tell me, I just put 2 and 2 together. You gotta fight for your man, woman."

Ashley laughed at Zack's goofy choice of words.

"Now go out there, reclaim your man, drag him to your bedroom and remind him why he's the luckiest guy in the school."

"You think he's the luckiest guy?"

"I well, I um..." Zack stuttered, suddenly embarrassed at his choice of words. Zack did think he was pretty damn lucky. Anyone who could be with a Woodsen sister was very lucky.

"I'm teasing you Zack." She comforted him placing her hand on his cheek.

"And thank you, again," she added.

Ashley turned and left. She was done being insecure. She would fight for her and Brandon, no matter what.
