Ashley's debrief

"Wow, Chloe and Gavin...that's weird. But I guess it's just because I think of them as friends, it's hard to imagine them being sexual," Zack said, then opening his mouth for Ashley to insert a spoon of soup. He slurped it off, and swallowed. "You know, it's my face that hurts. My arms work fine, so, I can feed myself."

"And I already told you, you took a punch-" Ashley began.

"Three," Zack corrected.

"-three punches for me. So, I'm going to take care of you. And that's that," Ashley asserted and began blowing on the next spoonful.

"Yes, Ma'am," Zack teased with a grin, which faded to a frown as he returned to his original topic. "I can't imagine the Chloe I know having sex with someone else's boyfriend either. Poor Victoria."

"I know. She was pretty pissed, which is understandable. But, maybe they'll be able to work it out. I think it only just happened, not like with us, where we actively kept it from Brandon," Ashley explained as she fed him. "What surprised me more was that there's been something going on between Victoria and Kurt."

"Hmm, really?" Zack licked his lips as the spoon was withdrawn from his mouth. "Isn't Kurt the kind of guy she'd usually go for?"

"Sure, but, Vicky also isn't the type to cheat. If she was with Gavin, I didn't think anything could tear her away," Ashley refilled the spoon from the bowl on her lap. "This pregnancy thing must have really got to her."

"Gavin too, I imagine. I've been so caught up in our own stuff I haven't really been much of a friend to him. To either of them," Zack lamented before opening his mouth to be fed again.

"I'm sure Gavin could use a friend right now, but, ultimately, he'll have to decide between Chloe and Vicky for himself," Ashley replied. "Apparently, it was a heat of the moment thing though. I'm not sure what you could really have done unless you were right in the room with him at the time."

"That's true, I suppose." Zack shook his head as Ashley offered him more soup. "I've had enough. My jaw is getting kind of sore."

"Poor baby," Ashley cooed, setting the food aside as she leaned over and planted a kiss on his lips. Her hand returned and reached down to his shorts, stroking his cock through the material. "Maybe it's time for my jaw to get sore instead?"

Before her hand could dip below the waistband though, there was a knock at the door and they both stiffened. With a sigh, Ashley looked over her shoulder and in a sing-song voice called, "who's there?"

"Vicky," came the reply from the otherside of the door. "Can...can I come in? Is this a good time?"

Ashley looked down at her boyfriend, eyebrow arched, looking for an answer. Smiling resignedly, Ashley rolled over, lying next to him on the bed.

"Sure, come in," she shouted, watching as her blonde friend entered the bedroom, closing the door behind her.

"Thanks," Vicky said, pacing the floor. "Sorry to bother you. It's just so awkward out there."

"Awkward how?" Zack asked.

"Well, thankfully, Chloe isn't there. She's holed up in her room. So, it was just me, Gavin and Lisa out in the living area. But neither me nor Gavin can really talk to each other at the minute, so, Lisa was having to make all of the conversation, bless her." Victoria elaborated.

"That sounds like Lisa, trying to keep things friendly," Zack said.

"Aren't you annoyed that she outted you and Kurt?" Ashley glanced towards Zack, trying to gauge his expression as he complimented his ex-girlfriend.

"Nah, how can I be? I was the one who was actually in the kitchen with Kurt," Victoria hung her head. "In fact, I've been considering doing stuff with Kurt for a couple nights now. I saw him and Chloe in the bathroom and he looked so hot, and experienced, and Gavin wasn't giving me anything at the time because of the whole pregnancy crisis. I was on my way to his room the other night when you enlisted me to go find him." Victoria pointed towards Zack.

Ashley bolted upright in the bed, shocking Zack beside her.

"Vicky, that's wild. But you know, relationships can't be all about sex. You have to have the emotion and connection as well," Ashley said. "That's practically what you told me and why I went on the date with Zack before I let the relationship go any further,"

"I know, I know," Victoria ran her fingers through her long, blonde hair. "But you can't have a relationship without any sex at all. No physical connection is as bad as no emotional connection. I'm not saying I was right...but without any physical affection from Gavin, Kurt just started to seem really tempting."

"So, what's the plan now then?" Zack asked, rubbing his jaw.

"Well, I told Chloe and Gavin that they could have a day to figure everything out. Tomorrow, he'll give me his decision." Victoria flopped down on the bed, just beneath their feet. "But what am I to do until then?"

"I think you need to figure it out too. Were you really just tempted by Kurt because of the circumstances or were your actions betraying some deeper insecurity over Gavin?" Ashley shuffled down to bed and began to stroke her friend's forehead. "To be clear, I am not suggesting you date Kurt. You need to go on a date with you, Vick."

"Feel free to hang out here as much as you want," Zack said, rolling out of bed. "I'm gonna go talk to Gavin. Don't worry, I'll make sure he makes the right decision."

Zack winked at the girls, grimacing when he realised it hurt his face to even do that. Muttering his annoyance, he left the room.
