"Now that that's out of the way, I must sentence the three of you. Miss Caruthers, please step forward."

Lisa stepped up and dreaded what was about to happen.

"Your wanton mean streak and disregard for Miss Fairchild's emotions is simply execrable, and has left deep scarring on the victim as we have seen here. From what I understand, you have always been the mastermind of the victim's torment and are a menace to society, not just her. As such, per the terms of the plea deal, I hereby sentence you to three years in the state penitentiary and two years of probation, to be served consecutively. I will deduct time served in the county jail from the prison sentence, and combined with good behavior, you might get out in as little as two years from today, but the probation will be unaffected regardless. You are not to have contact with the victim at any time during your prison or probation sentence, and after your prison sentence is concluded you will have to register as a sex offender for life. Your sentence begins in a week, so you will be free to go until then."

The gravity of the situation hit Lisa as she started to weep as she was carried away. "Miss Davidson, please step forward."

Carrie stepped forward for her punishment.

"It is my understanding that your relationship with Miss Fairchild was not quite as malicious as Miss Caruthers's, and was more born of a misguided sense of fun. I will therefore not judge you as harshly. That said, what you have done is inexcusable and cannot be ignored. I hereby sentence you to two years in penitentiary and one year of probation, to be served consecutively. With time served and good behavior, you can get out of prison in as little as one and a half years, but will serve the probation regardless. You likewise are not to have contact with the victim at any time during your prison or probation sentence, but will not be required to register as a sex offender. Your sentence also begins in a week, so you will be free to go until then."

Carrie was more stoic as she made her departure. "Miss Ortega, please step forward."

Alicia stepped forward. "Given your help in this case, and your friendship towards Fairchild and non-malice, I hereby sentence you to six months probation, suspended on the condition that you not strip Miss Fairchild on then. You are free to go."

"Thank you, your honor," Alicia smiled as she made her exit.
