Appeals are the obvious route!

Grace worked at a development firm that was deeply connected with the Beaucorps and Dewey law firm, whose managing partner was Selena Beaucorps.

Selena herself had prodigious experience with public indecency, and had also known Grace from their nudist adventures together, but always got the law on her side. She was floored that the inept public defender had given Jessica such a harsh sentence, and felt that it was deeply unfair - plus, she wanted to get Jessica out so she could see her naked in public more!

So, she took on the case of the Lutz appeal pro bono. She wanted to free both the bodacious blondes, but Grace refused her request for counsel, preferring to serve her sentence and having enough money to retire and provide for the Lutz family during her incarceration (she had been the primary breadwinner, Ted's teacher salary being a mere supplement). Jessica, on the other hand, leapt at the chance of getting free sometime in her life, and making a new start ... maybe somewhere where she wasn't so infamous.

Mrs. Beaucorps pulled up to the prison one day to speak with Jessica and make a game plan for filing the necessary appellate paperwork.
