An unexpected alliance.

"We will take down Lord Windgrace, that seems to in general be a benefit to all of us, so we can promise that we are on your side," Take announces and the Elf Chieftain seems relieved.
"I'm glad to hear it," Magritte says cheerfully.
"We have some questions. We faced Breaker recently and it caught a goblin named Gako. Do you know how to free her, is it possible to break the stockade and if so what happens? The voices also want to know how long was it between Lumberer's death and Breaker's arrival," Take says and Magritte nods.
"Being captured by Breaker isn't a good thing. He's a sadist and will undoubtedly hurt poor Gako, but she should survive. He doesn't tend to kill his captives, if you want to rescue her you'll need to beat him. I don't know if the Stockade can be broken, it hasn't happened so far," she admits. She looks thoughtful, "Yulia's time here was about 20 years ago now. We had relative peace for nearly two decades, Breaker showed up at the same time Lord Windgrace performed his coup. I don't know if he even existed before. Lord Windgrace took over and suddenly Breaker was there and everyone acted like it had been there all along. Some twisted creature that had just lived among us now driven insane and violent and working for Lord Windgrace. I think the Tower changed reality to create the Breaker, my existence as a former Chosen is probably the only reason I'm aware of the change," Magritte explains.
"What can you tell us about Lord Windgrace?" Take follows up and Magritte looks nervous.
"He was brought to our floor by Goma and Isalia. A child of a Goblin and an Angel he had inherited the wings and strength of an angel and the size and dexterity of a goblin. His name was Izzy, but the Goblins called him Windgrace in awe of his ability to fly with his angelic wings. We loved him. Goma, Isalia and I along with the rest of the Goblins raised him. We don't know exactly what caused him to... Become Lord Windgrace, but one day he just somehow learned about Ash Meddai and decided that women should be subservient to men. He trapped his own mother, Goma, along with her partner Isalia in the deep and then well, overthrew me. The goblins... I... None of us want to hurt him. We all still love him, but... He needs to be corrected. I think this is just some sort of... Tantrum? An expression of his growing lust as he is now an adult, I don't know exactly," she admits, seeming ashamed and nervous as she explains this.
Take is smart enough to realize this is also the answer to the question about Izzy. Izzy, whoever he is seemingly the child of one of the previous chosen's allies is in fact this Lord Windgrace, "I suppose that explains why this coup of his went so smoothly. If no one wanted to truly oppose him. You probably just surrendered immediately if the alternative was to fight him and potentially hurt him or get hurt yourself," Take states and Magritte looks more ashamed.
"We'll take him down, don't worry. If possible I suppose we can even try not to hurt him," Malphiel offers and Magritte gives her a weak smile.
"Opening the way to the deep might be enough. He trapped Goma and Isalia down there and it's pretty obvious to me why. They wouldn't be any more likely to hurt him than I would, so he didn't fear they'd fight back. I think he was just scared of his actual parents finding out what he did. He is after all in many ways still a child," (though to be clear he is not physically or mentally an actual child~Lydia)
With all this explained Take and Malphiel leave to find Nagi and entering her shop they find her sitting at her normal desk and she greets them with a big wave. "Hiya Take!" she yells excitedly.
"Hello, Nagi! We have some stuff we need you to identify," Take responds placing the items on the counter, "also is this button legit, we were told it would summon help if needed," Take adds.
Nagi takes the button and looks it over, "Yeah this is legit. High tech stuff from Iralia, a beacon that will alert someone to your location," Nagi answers. She then takes the halo and the Spear. "Ooh this Halo... It's God's Favour! It's a piece of armour. You can equip it as a helmet and while it has no real effect normally, it will revive you if you die, once," she explains and Take nods taking it back. Nagi then takes the spear and as she holds it the tip opens and the tongue lashes out, she stares at it for a bit and then it goes back in and the spear closes, "right... So, this is the Spear of Consumption, not sure how you have this, but well if used in combat it will, well, eat any opponent you defeat with it. Doing so will make the spear more powerful for each person it eats, but of course, being eaten is lethal so be careful using it against anyone you don't intend to kill," she answers and hands it back.
Take takes it and thanks her. She smiles. "Now then, about your boon? Also need any healing?" she asks excitedly and then looks thoughtful. "Also I notice you're missing someone. She didn't die already I assume, so what's wrong? Not a gardener, Take?" Nagi hints.
