Anything Unexpected Happen to our Heroine?

Another Magic Obstacle!

Sensing the encroaching presence of her rivals, Kagari's pace quickened. Her hazel eyes flickered with a rare spark of intensity, the corners of her mouth lifting ever so slightly. She felt the thrill of competition surge through her, but it was the pursuit itself, rather than victory, that drove her forward.

"Tempus Fugit," she uttered softly, casting a time manipulation spell. For a brief moment, everything around her seemed to slow down while she remained unaffected. This allowed her to analyze her opponents' movements more closely, seeking weaknesses to exploit and opportunities to pull away.

As the spell wore off, she dashed towards the next obstacle - a wall of water conjured by one of the academy's senior mages. Instead of attempting to break through it, Kagari held out her hands and spoke another incantation, "Aqua Celeritas." The water parted before her, creating a tunnel for her to pass through without getting wet. Emerging on the other side, she glanced over her shoulder and noticed the others still wrestling with the watery barrier.

"Interesting application," she commented to herself, appreciating the versatility of magic. Maintaining her focus, Kagari pressed onward.

Despite her best efforts to ignore the cameras, Kagari couldn't help but feel their persistent presence. The hum of the anti-gravity devices buzzed in her ears, the lenses seemingly locked onto her every movement. With that resolve, she continued at full speed, occasionally casting a nonchalant glance at the hovering cameras.

"Good job keeping up," she called out to the camera operators, her voice steady despite her accelerated pace. Their surprised reactions made her smile faintly, a ripple in her otherwise stoic demeanor.
