I spent some time considering my next edit, endless possibilities, and it seems like the only limit is what order I want to make them in. I looked her over, taking in everything. From The cute apron, to her red hair, to her scowl of frustration. Then it hit me.
If she’s working for me now, I don’t want her to be annoyed by me. I want her to enjoy her job and live happily! So I focus on the word, and I make the change.
The world shifts in front of me again, settling to reveal a scene very similar to the one I just left. Not much had changed, her apron was now closer to the standard maid dress, and her choker turned green. But the most important change was right in front of my eyes.
Her face is lit up in a smile of genuine contentment, and she’s looking at me with calm and joy in her eyes. Like a puppy when you get home from work, she is simply happy to see me.
But what should I change next?
