Such as?
Annabeth Chase, your ex-girlfriend
The pond swirled around until it showed a sight of a beautiful university.
The architecture on the building was dazzling, even to the point where a layman such as yourself could amire its beauty.
There was only one person in your life who could attend such a high-class college.
Annabeth Chase—your Ex girlfriend.
"..."
You stared down at the swirling pool.
Again, unlike what many had assumed, your breakup with her was surprisingly dry and anti-dramatic.
Annabeth was the first to suggest that they take a "Break", since she did want to pursue her dreams of being an architect one day...but you knew what the real reason was.
'Tartarus.'
Even in Olympus, the polar opposite of thar horrid place, simply thinking its name sent a small shiver down your spine.
Calling your experiences down there traumatic would be the biggest downplay throughout the entire history of men, and you knew it would be not so different for Annabeth as well.
Sure, you two being together was the sole reason you've managed to make it through that hell-hole.
It was very sweet and romantic, or whatever other modifier Aphrodite came up with.
However, it was difficult to maintain the same relationship when simply looking at each other reminded both of you of those experiences.
The time down at Tartarus was too...big to simply ignore.
'...or maybe...'
You pulled out the Rulebook.
Organization: Annabeth Chase, a demigod daughter of Athena and Frederick Chase
You carefully pick and chose which words to use before writing them on the Notebook.
The notes from the Fates suggested that erasing a rule would erase its effect, but it was better to be safe than sorry.
Old Rule: Annabeth Chase never remembered what happened in Tartarus after making it out.
You paused after dotting the full stop.
The Notebook's powers seemed to work as soon as you were done writing it, so Annabeth would have forgotten everything she had experienced in Tartarus.
"Alright then... let's give this another shot."
With a deep breath, which you really didn't need, you jumped into the swirling pool.
