Anna begins her investigation

Anna reentered the mansion. Free from her previous stimulations, and armed with more knowledge of the mansion, she reassessed the situation. That incubus was old, as old, if not older, than any she had faced. It was reasonable to assume it was the mastermind of whatever was going on here. He had also heavily tried to influence her with his mind and failed. However, if she tried to attack him head-on, he would likely call whatever else was around in the house to stop her, so they found themselves in a war of attrition. He would likely try to weaken her so that he could bend her to his will, she would have to systematically wipe out his support to get a clean chance at ending this. What she didn't know however, was what tools the incubus had at his disposal. She would just have to advance carefully, identify monsters, and eliminate them as best she could. With that in mind, she picked the first door on her left, and finding it open, went inside.

As soon as she stepped in the doorway, the temperature of the room dropped several degrees. Her skin prickled with goosebumps. While initially shocking, this provided Anna with some relief. She had seen this before. She was dealing with a ghost. She zipped up her jacket and entered the room properly, letting the door close softly behind her.

Ghosts were standard fare for a demon hunter. They could be repelled with iron. She drew an iron dagger. As for eliminating them, ghosts were spirits of the dead who could not leave due to unfinished business, and were tied to the mortal plane through a tangible object. She could either help it finish its business, or eliminate the object tying it to earth.

Suddenly, a pair of hands appeared around her chest. They grabbed the zipper of her jacket and yanked it open, then grabbed handfuls of her ample breasts. Anna gasped at the intrusion, then quickly regained her composure, and drove the iron dagger behind her, where she believed the arms currently groping her would meet a chest. With a howl, the ghost dissipated.

Anna had had enough sexual stimulation for one day, and iron didn't kill the ghost, just dissipate it temporarily, so she pulled a salt shaker from a pocket and poured a ring around herself. Ghosts could not cross a salt line. This would give her time to think.

She looked around the room, trying to identify an object that might be the ghost's anchor, the room was rather nondescript, except for an old looking book on a table across the room.

That had to be it, but she'd have to leave the protection of the salt circle to get it.
