Animal control

Animals are as much part of the nature as plants. And a chimera is a mix of different animals. So, in theory, your spells to control or communicate with animals should work just the same as usual. You get ready, when the chimera runs towards you to kill you. You let your magic rush through your body. A circle of green light appears in your hand and you let the runes you think about run through it. When the last rune is done, you get the incredible feeling you always get when you synchronize with an animal.

Your senses, your instincts and your awareness of dangers become more wolf-like. You look up. Right in the eyes of the chimera. You **** a mental connection to its basic instincts. You feel its anger and the desire for blood. With a wolfish howling and the pure **** of your mind, you command the chimera to stop.

The chimera stops indeed. Just a meter in front of you. It looks confused, that you are actually able to talk with it. However, your happiness over your success end quickly when both you and chimera realize, that it was just the confusion that stopped the chimera. The dark magic in it's genetic code combined with the fact that chimeras are artificial beings make it highly unnatural. Your magic has no control over this monster.

The chimera speeds up again, still with the goal to eliminate you. You try to raise your hand and create a new spell. But before you can even think about a spell the chimera in too close. it's scorpion tail penetrates your belly with enough **** to lift you up. You feel the hot poison burning it's way through your blood. Your body goes limb and blood comes out of your mouth. The only mercy you get is, that you don't have to suffer for long. The chimera smashes your body to the ground to get you off it's tail. Your neck breaks and your vision goes black forever.
