Angela

Angela gets into the new car that she had bought for herself and pulls out of the driveway heading towards school. It is freshman orientation week at the University of Southern California where she goes to school. she has had to be at school for a few weeks now for training since she's a student-athlete but everyone else is just starting to get on campus so she knows that the parking spaces will be limited.

She made a deal with her parents that for freshman year she would live at home and commute to school but next year they would buy her an apartment to live in close to campus. She had already made good friends with several of the girls on her team and had already gotten into a routine. Today, she wanted to get there early to see how that would change based on more people starting to come to the school.

She had also been invited to attend some of the sorority parties that would be happening with the start of the new year and she was looking forward to enjoying her college life. The reason that she did not mind staying at home is that her mother was really cool with anything that she wanted to do, as long as she helped out when it was needed at the house she got a pretty long leash to do whatever she wanted.

Her sisters would have you believe that she was the spoiled one in the family but that simply was not the case. This level of freedom came from being the responsible and good middle child of the family her older sister was a bit of a wild child and so was her youngest sister. As she drove through the streets of LA she made her way over to the campus of the University; as she entered campus she pulled into one of the spots in the main parking lot for kids who commuted to the school.

When she did she saw a couple of her friends waiting there for her and when she pulled in they got up and walked over to the car. As she got out of the car they said, “ damn girl this is a nice car.”

“Thanks,” said Angela. “ I have been saving up my money for a while to buy it and thankfully I pulled together the funds just before the start of the summer and was able to buy the car.”

“Wow, I can't believe you can afford one of these,” The other one of her friends said as they started to walk towards the dining hall. They continue to chat as they reach the dining hall and as they opened the doors Angela saw.
