Chapter 5 by An0nymus1ndividual An0nymus1ndividual

Time passes...

And things change, in both realms

Your own duty is, as your discussion with your new Saintess and your daughter said, not that difficult. To begin with, you make it known that you wish for all of your other angels to see you as they are able to. Then as each visits your throne room, you ask them to view the prayer that you now keep by your side as you did when you were given it. Many look at you in confusion when you ask them that - what prayer could at once be important enough for a goddess' attention yet unimportant enough that she would only show it to her angels, after all? But they do as you ask.

Some small number, forty to fifty, react with dismay or disgust upon seeing it, mostly those of more esoteric nature. They tell you when you ask their thoughts that they are shocked with the mortal's depravity, dismayed that such a prayer could even make it to your realm, never mind to your own hands, start to vow to seek out the one who made this prayer and educate them on their error. Their shock when you inform them that the one who made this prayer you have named your new Saintess - all in your realm felt Amelia's ascension, and no doubt if you had not put about your summons immediately after her return to the mortal realm you would be beset with those asking why you have named a Saintess now of all times - is significant. It does not decrease when you further explain your sharing of these desires.

You make certain to be gentle with these angels, always gentle. It is not easy for an angel to find herself in disconnect with her deity, and doubly so when such a thing is not brought about by the angel's own choice. You make certain to reassure them that you love them no less now than before when several of them try to hastily backtrack their words; only one of them does so in a way that convinces you she truly feels otherwise than what she first said, but thought you would want to hear her reject those desires. The rest you gently insist - they need not lie to you. You respect their choices, and would not want them **** to follow a path that they cannot embrace. They are your daughters after all; you want only the best for them. So you must insist that they find new deities they would prefer to serve, preferably before your new course in the world becomes public. Despite your reassurances, these angels are subdued when they agree and leave your presence.

Over the months that follow, one by one those angels set out to follow new deities, predominantly those with domains of guardianship and wisdom. Their sisters who remain bid them fond farewells, and you make a point of attending each somber departure to offer your blessings to their choice in person. All of them are, at least, able to muster an honest smile for you by the time they go.

While those angels leave, the tens on hundreds of thousands of other angels have a very different reaction to the visions of the prayer. It is not unexpected; after all, in a real sense they are made of you. Not the sum total of you, they are not clones of you and they have developed in their own ways after their creations, but you are a common factor between them.

Of this remainder, some came out of viewing the prayer blushing and embarrassed. Others with a stunned expression of realization, and a portion with gazes of open lust. A number actually collapsed to their knees, panting with open desire. And a small portion you had to, to your eventual amusement, have to stop when they attempted to dive back into the fantasy, all but begging to be allowed to stay within it if not to have their own copies of the prayer.

That is to say, while it is variable just how wantonly your angels embrace their desires upon seeing your revelation, the remainder do all embrace them. Like you, they see the concept of being bound, enslaved, becoming an object for the use and enjoyment of others, and they are not horrified or frightened. They are intrigued, excited, thrilled. And when you further express your own interest and intention to change your role in the world, they rejoice. This realization and acceptance is, again, not difficult. It simply takes time.

Meanwhile in the mortal realm, Amelia being named a Saintess does not go unnoticed. Even if it pales in comparison to a deity or higher angels, that level of divine connection and power simply is not arranged to remain hidden from view - especially when it arises in an organization of worship. The indication of your favor naturally sees Amelia rapidly ascent to the top of your church, something such organizations are deliberately designed for - an urgent need for such figures to rise and be given full support may not be within living memory, but it still nonetheless remains within memory.

But of course, that only encourages questions as to why Amelia was chosen. For there was no clear great crisis that called for divine attention, nor did the church seem as yet to suffer in numbers or performance. Had the Goddess seen something the older heads had overlooked, they wondered.

Amelia chose to work gradually, beginning with a quiet meeting with the other most prominent and powerful figures of the church. When she announced just what it was that had brought your attention upon her and that it was intended by their Goddess for the church to become a place of debauchery and servitude, there was confusion, distress, and rejection - the Saintess must be deluded, this could not possibly be true. Which was why you assigned Teana to assist Amelia - an angel was not so easily mistaken on what her divinity wished, nor was her allegiance able to be concealed or faked.

Thus when Teana manifested behind Amelia and confirmed the truth and accuracy of her words, the denial had little choice but to give way - though there was still consternation. Amelia emphasized that while the change to the church's nature was the divine will, it was also the divine will to not **** erstwhile faithful followers into things that they could not accept nor to cause undo disruption unto the mortal world. As such the transition would take time, gradually settling the church's responsibilities that the new aim could not sustain with others and allowing those who did not desire to partake in what the church would become to separate themselves without judgement.

Acceptance was not nearly so common as with your angels. Even just from that first meeting it was plain that many of the church leaders would be removing themselves. But - somewhat to your surprise - some were intrigued, and grew more so when they stayed after the meeting to ask Amelia and Teana to explain the exact nature of the fantasies that had enraptured you and the new form the church would take. And while the discontented leaders would not be willing to further the church's transformation except to engage in separating the parts of the church that they did care for and approve of, these leaders were quite willing to further the propagation of the new vision.

The less invested leadership was set upon splitting the designated parts of the church that the more lustful future would struggle to accommodate - traditional charitable initiatives, artistic sponsorship, ordinary healing and monster patrols and the ilk - into their own organizations. Some began to gather to service and prayer towards what they insisted on viewing as the "true" nature of their Goddess, your traditionally-assigned epithets and duties. In truth they would in due time simply create a new divinity who matched their beliefs, but that would be quite alright for them and you were untroubled by the idea. Others began to make approaches to other churches and faiths, preparing to merger once the transformation of your faith became public.

For those who meant to stay, first the circle of those who knew of the divine plan was gradually widened in small, personal meetings starting from the top of the church hierarchy and moving downwards. First only by Amelia, Teana, and the interested leaders, but as you brought more and more of your own angels into the fold you sent more of them to assist in moving through the pool of people who needed to be informed so they could make appropriate plans for their futures. Somewhat to everyone's surprise, while those higher in the hierarchy more closely resembled the reactions of the highest leadership, as they moved further into the ordinary nuns and sisters of the church more and more of them chose to stay, to the point that a large majority of new initiates remained. You did not expect so much, but you could not say you were displeased by finding that you were more in-tune with your faithful than you had expected.

Once all those who were members of the church had been so informed, Amelia began a series of quiet visits with those more secular rulers of lands on which your congregations were gathered. Again with Teana's backing she explained the new direction of the church and its new nature. In many of those lands slavery was flatly banned; in these places Amelia simply explained the intended reallocation of church property and services depending on the intentions of those making their separations and handed over documents approving of said changes; where there were not enough to carry on maintenance of said properties, she simply turned them over to the ruler or government and left.

In places where the keeping of people in bondage was more accepted, however, Amelia could be more direct. After explaining the actions to be taken by those separating from the faith in those areas, she asked if the rulers wished to keep the church in their current places of public prominence or relocate to make their debauchery less obvious. Some asked for the church to relocate, some allowed the faith to stay where it was. In all cases, Amelia simply abided by their decision with a smile.

At the same time, those who were fully members of the church having already been alerted to the changes, those who ministered to the public were directed to speak with their flocks about the matter. Again there was shock, and many moved to be ministered by other faiths or those who had broken away from your own to remain "traditional" - but, again to your surprise, about half remained no matter how lascivious the descriptions and details from your faithful got, even before said descriptions started drawing in new attendees specifically drawn to the new doctrines.

It is no small effort, taking years to complete, and you make sure to praise Amelia, Teana, and the other angels you send to assist them for their hard work whenever you have the opportunity. And ultimately it succeeds exactly as you hope: with only a few rumors beforehand, the change in the church's doctrine is presented to the world as all but a fait accompli. Old names for the faith are left to the traditionalists who split off, and in an announcement to the members of the church members Amelia declares the church to now be the Church of the Bound.

What this process means on your own end of affairs is very little change followed by a good deal of change all at once. The structure of a divine being's heaven is a peculiar intersection of the divine's will and the belief of the divine's faithful, an intersection common to beings who live on faith. Your former ennui was not solely caused by your faithful inadvertently surrounding you in dreary pure-white structures stretching into areas far larger than ever needed whilst bathed in a perpetual twilight, but such did not help matters.

Now with the change in the mortal faith of you, you have been both subject to significant redecorating and able to cause significant redecorating. The dull and eye-searing white has given way to much more varied colors, gaining edges and definition previously obstructed by what you had mentally termed a "haze of purity." The ridiculous empty spaces have been brought to heel, now large in a less ineffable sense and more practical one. Once smooth and unnoticeable pathways have gained texture and temperature, and quaint areas of greenery have gained depth to the brush and height to the trees.

Perhaps more immediate to your interests, certain paraphernalia has been spread throughout your domain. Metal loops where chains or ropes might be latched are everywhere to be found. Pillories are at major crossroads, and holes that a being might be secured halfway through - or that a penis might be thrust through - are now in several of your buildings. And desks, bookshelves, and cabinets, once home at most to old literature and reports, now are home to a great many tools of self-pleasure.

Your angels are open about the desires they hold. Some manage to convince their sisters to lock them in the aforementioned pillories during their spare time, where - so far - they have at most been subject to some public groping. You believe a few more adventurous ones have begun sleeping in cages, even. As for their dress, their robes have been brought close in towards their forms and the amount of fabric reduced. When you look on Teana now, standing beside you, what she wears can only just be recognized as being akin to the robe she wore when she brought you that prayer all that time ago.

Your own dress has been similarly altered, your legs bare and your cleavage exposed. And also as is your angels' new style, on your wrist and ankles you now wear tight metal bangles that you strive to take off as little as possible. You feel more pleased and invested than you have in many, many years - but the transformation is not complete. Not yet.

It is not complete for the same reason that Amelia only announced the change to the Church of the Bound to the church's members. The same reason that you wear bangles, not shackles. The same reason you still sit upon a throne. The same reason neither you nor your angels yet wear a collar.

You need someone to whom you can give control to. Someone you can give dominion of your faith and faithful, your divine domain, your angels, and yourself to. Someone who you can be owned by, totally and completely.

You consider your options...
