What is going on tomrorrow?
An unexpected visitor
The Osgood name, not a bad one certainly. I had met them of course, but the current head was fifteen years older than me. When I met him, I was likely a child and or was much more concerned with my own marriage prospects. Strictly speaking, it was not a bad offer, given my history may be obscure it was not unknown.
Raising children without having to have sex again would be what people call the best ending to one such as I, the victim. I gripped the curtains at the phrase. Victim. How many struggle and die without finding happiness? Even a moment of it, and yes I am the victim. Pure sophestry.I took a deep breath, come now. What kind of Master would want a distracted maid?
A carriage bearing the Osgood crest arrived on the property. Today would settle many things. My dream would obviously be for Master to come from the carriage, but I would settle for Osgood being like Master, or being someone to hom I could see Master agreeing to give me to. I suppose it was a given how much either of those would settle matters. It was outside those results that things became tricky.
After all, it could be the case that becoming his wife was merely a useful position to establish this new charmed castle, and his son could be groomed into such a figure. As the step mother, it would be an idea situation. But I could hardly expect Mother to be my ally here. The moment I met his satisfaction she would be pushing Lydia to make plans. But if I pushed him away to much than I would lose the option before I could measure it.
He came out of his carriage, a green suit, he seemed nice-

Is that? Marriane. When did that happen! This changed a lot! I turned to Helina. “Be beyond your best behavior, and pay lots of attention, I saw someone that may be important.”
But why? Rosemary? I didn’t think so but perhaps her arrival beat the letter? Once by the palor where he stepped in. I gave a curtsy, and he bowed in return.
“And who might this lovely lady with you be? My competition perhaps?” I asked looking at Marianne, her face turned a bit pink. Marianne was my backup for when I was sick as headmaid. So she should easily have enough confidence to accept such a notion.
“Competition? Heavens no. She is staff, but she was quite the catch,” he said with a chuckle. “She is my chef, I had brought her to brag to be honest, because if you think her looks are beyond her class, wait until you taste her cooking.”
“Oh my, I am looking forward to it,” I said with a giggle. There was no need for such a statement to even be a lie, Marianne is who had taught me. “Well, ten allow me to show her to the kitchen.”
“Celeste! Don’t joke about that,” Mother scolded. “You are not staff, you shall not waste time on such.”
I fidgeted a bit. I had let my mind pursue what I wanted too hastily. I suppose a genuine mistake was fine, it was my plan to make a few on purpose. It still hurt though, I am not staff. I knew she meant it like I was better than staff, but Mother. How easily I could have saw myself being staff for the Ashford if you wouldn’t have stopped me. But enough of that for now. How to recover?
“Oh bother. I was hoping to have an excuse to brag about all the improvements you had made, but I suppose I was too forward,” I paused and looked at Helina. “You shall act as her guide in my place then. Oh and do make sure we have plenty of milk. I shall have some after dinner for before bed.”
“Yes, my Lady,” Helina said before she guided Marianne away.
My heart ached to not be able to spend some time with her, or perhaps suck her breasts a bit. For now, I shall have to wait and relay on Helina to do my work. And I would in the meantime be stuck with such the boring part. Oh well, sometimes boring work could be very fruitful.
How do the plans go?
