An embarrassing coincidence

I then remember falling into some kind of cushioned box, I think the impact of my fall must’ve shut it’s lid but I can’t be sure. The cushioning was surprisingly comfortable, even with my hot breath reverberate around the vase on my face. I then felt a sudden lurch in my cushy casing, I can only assume I was being hoisted up, and the container began to feel colder. I tried shouting but either the vase, the container or both must’ve muffled my voice because I heard no response. I then felt myself being settled down and the wirring of small mechanisms and generators was heard all around me. At first I thought that they were going on outside as I assume I was in some kind of factory but as it went on I began to realise that the noises were coming from by container. I began to squirm desperately but it did very little and I felt an icy cold liquid wash over my naked body. The shock of the cold rendered me ****.

When I woke up, the container felt as though it were upright and I heard very faint murmurs. I then heard the clicking of the door mechanism open and light crept into the crack of the vase’s lid. “What on Earth do we have here?” Spoke a female voice in astonishment, “I don’t remember ordering a bonus gift.” “There’s been some mistake I’m afraid, I’m here by accident.” I said a little embarrassed. I tried moving my arms to cover myself but they refused to move. Not just the hands I mean, but the arms themselves for that matter, and my shoulders. The female voice began barking orders and I was hoisted out of the container by two pairs of hands. The vase on my head was then smashed open and I was faced with shapes in blinding light.

As my vision adjusted the shapes become clearer and to my horror I realised that I was staring right at the Governess of the Stormcage and her guards. “Well isn’t this a fun surprise Miss Song.” She said gleefully. “Here we all were worrying about you and here you are testing out my beauty treatment.” “Beauty treatment?” I said bewildered. The Governess explained that the container I was in was designed to spread some kind of cryogenic liquid over the body which would then soak into the skin and preserve bone and muscle mass, before being exfoliated through the pores and revealing the skin to be renewed with youthful vigour. With horror I realised what had happened and looked down. I tried moving my arms and legs but they refused to budge, all that would move was my head and neck as they had been protected by by the vase. I was now stuck in a naked superhero pose for all to see.
