What does Miss Kole have planned for Alice?

An almost banial boring week to put Alice at ease

Alice found that Miss Kole was very professional as she sat at work. All Monday Miss Kole looked over the messages from Mission Defense and took down notes while flipping between a book on US Government rules on weapons and other military equipment exports. Occasionally she would ask Alice to put a book away, fetch another or look something up on her office laptop. That went on for hours, with an hour and a half break for lunch. At the end of the day, Alice expected a conversation, but rather, Miss Kole thanked her and asked her to make sure she save a copy of the notes on the laptop to the firm’s internal server before wishing her good night and phoning Mister Cresaps. Alice was half tempted to listen in, but from what she did hear as she got ready to leave, it was Miss Kole assuring him that she was fine, her vacation had done her well and she was already hard at work on the Mission Defense file.

Tuesday was rainy, but Miss Kole seemed to be dressed for the weather when Alice came in, she was standing by her desk with her cup of coffee looking at a small TV on one of the book shelves. Miss Kole seemed to repeat what the weatherman on the TV was saying a few times as if trying to decide something. Alice looked her boss over; Miss Kole seemed to be wearing stacked heeled rubber rain knee boots, black wool Capri trousers, a black wool turtleneck and silver pendant with a raven engraved on it. Miss Kole turned off the TV and told Alice it was time to work. Alice would occasionally do dictation for sections of the contract agreement and the accompanying letters. At the end of the day, Miss Kole had Alice back up her work on the firm’s server and then dismiss her while she called Mister Crowley.

Alice walked into the office on Wednesday and had to admit, Miss Kole looked amazing as she stood holding her coffee cup. Black Silk puffy sleave Victorian Barber’s shirt, a black velvet vest, a black velvet ankle skirt and what looked like black leather Chelsea boots. They got right to work, but shortly after lunch, Miss Kole took a call and then put on her matching black velvet jacket and excused herself. After a half an hour, she returned and announced that she had to leave early to attend to some personal maters and Alice was to make sure to back up her laptop to the firm’s server before leaving. When Alice got home, Miss Kole was in her front yard with a man in cut-off jean booty shorts and a tank top and a woman in leather pants and a t-shirt. Miss Kole had changed to black skinny jeans and an old Alice in Chains band t-shirt. They were loading bags and things into the back of an expensive looking SUV.

Thursday was apparently pinstripe day, Miss Kole was dressed in a black and white Victorian pinstripe skirt suit, complete with double breasted vest. What ever had happened Wednesday evening seemingly had upset Miss Kole since she was muttering under her breath through out the day and while Alice couldn’t understand any of it, it was somewhat distracting and Alice found her self spacing out for a few minutes at a time from Miss Kole’s muttering.

Oddly enough, Thursday night, Alice found herself dreaming of going on a date with the Cheshire Cat from the Disney film.

Miss Kole was standing by her desk Friday Morning holding her cup of coffee. She looked Alice up and down as Alice put up her coat on the rack by the door.

“What?” Alice asked.

“You look disturbed,” Miss Kole noted with a flat but imperial tone.

“I dreamed I went on a date with the Cheshire Cat last night,” Alice blurted.

“Was it a bad date?” Miss Kole asked with out a hint of judgment or amusement.

“No,” Alice said before sighing, “It’s just, I brought back memories of how I was teased in middle school.”

“Middle School, the setting for many child hood traumas,” Miss Kole noted, “Do you need to talk about it?”

“No I am fine,” Alice smiled, “It’s just a blast from the past.”

“I suppose I should ask; do you have any problems with ‘The Nightmare before Christmas’ Miss Darling?” Miss Kole asked with the same dispassionate voice.

“No,” Alice said, “I haven’t seen that in ages.”

“Good, I would like you to come over for dinner,” Miss Kole said, “I understand that we didn’t get a right and proper introduction but I would like to call our first social meeting a ‘Mulligan’ and try over on more peaceable terms.”

“Yeah, I think that would be best,” Alice agreed.

“Great, say about eight o’clock,” Miss Kole smiled, “Do I really need to give you directions?”

“No,” Alice giggled.

“Good, now lets get to work before someone stops by and goes on about being paid to work, not socialize,” Miss Kole said before taking a long drag from her coffee cup and walking behind her desk.

Miss Kole was wearing a similar outfit to the one she wore on Tuesday, but the wool pants and turtleneck had a greyish tint and she wore leather riding boots.

*

Alice as nervous as a school girl as she stood outside Miss Kole’s front door. Miss Kole had been muttering again and Alice had been concerned that she was upset and frustrated with their seeming lack of progress, but an hour before lunch Mister Crowley came in and informed them that the first draft looked great and they would be free for the rest of the day… Alice hadn’t been sure why, but on her drive home a bug twitched in her brain, she had an itch to wear leather, either pants or a skirt to dinner with Miss Kole. She didn’t know why, but as soon as she got home, she had rushed to the closet and pulled out the three pairs of pants and two skirts she had to make sure they were real leather and then rub them on her face… Alice had pulled herself together, showered, changed and collected her phone and keys. She had made sure her outfit was good, proper, but not too formal. Black leather pants, black sneakers, a white polo and a bright blue sweater.

Alice pushed the door bell and waited. A half second later, the door flung open and Miss Kole put an arm over her eyes and slammed the door shut before opening it again, this time wearing dark tinted sunglasses.

“Sorry, that blue was just too bright!” Miss Kole said.

“Do you really keep a pair of sunglasses by your door to pull jokes on people?” Alice asked.

“Yes, as well as a set of vampire fangs, a bottle of fake blood, and a crucifix dildo… it all depends on who is trying to sell what,” Miss Kole smiled, “Come on in.”

Alice looked around as she entered, it was very much a Victorian house, but it had been renovated over the years, she spotted a Telephone nook by the big spiral stairs, LED lights in the Coffin Corners of the Stair Case, a touch screen by the door with video camera feeds from outside and a big panic icon waiting to be used… The walls were a steel grey while the ceilings were bone white and the floors were blonde Maple. Miss Kole was dressed in some slouch boots, shiny leggings that could have been vinyl or maybe rubber, a black lace poet shirt and a black leather bra top. She very much looked like the mistress of this house.

“Nice place,” Alice said.

“Thanks, it’s been in the family for generations,” Miss Kole smiled, “Grandpa put a lot of work in to this place before he checked out…”

“Oh, ah, I’m sorry,” Alice stammered.

“Hmm? Oh,” Miss Kole smiled, “No, he got tired of shoveling the snow off the side walk and porches, so he moved to a senior community in Arizona… He is on the hunt for grandma number five.”

“Oh…” was all Alice could say.

“If he was still here he might try to seduce you himself,” Miss Kole teased, “I suppose I should give you the nickel tour…”

Miss Kole pointed the stairwell.

“That’s the upstairs with all the bedrooms, I suppose it’s a bit early to be showing them off,” Miss Kole said before stepping forward to a door in the side of the stairs, “That’s to the storage basement, wine cellar and dungeon… again too early in our relationship for to be showing that off.”

Alice was shown the sitting room, the library, the family room, the pool room, the dinning room and finally the kitchen. Alice stood in the short hallway between the kitchen and the dinning room… there was framed art on either side and she was looking between them… To her left was a framed and signed poster of Michelle Pfeiffer in her Catwoman costume, but no cowl from the movie Batman Returns and on the other side was a painting of Kristen Stewart fucking Kristen Stewart with a strap-on-dildo…

“Yeah…” Miss Kole said, “That was a gift from an ex who knew we were going to be done after Christmas… “Grandpa thought it was so funny, he put it up before he left…”

*

“So, you really like Nightmare Before Christmas…” Alice noted as she swirled the wine in the glass.

“Not really,” Miss Kole said as she played with the butter knife.

“But that shrine in the library…” Alice arched an eyebrow.

“Gifts from friends and family who didn’t know what else to get me,” Miss Kole shrugged and fixed the strap on her leather bra top, “Every year, all the mall stores get a flood of merch for the movie so family and friends get me something… And so, when they come to visit, I put them in that nook in the library on display they don’t get insulted. You know, in an important place and all that.”

“Ah…” Alice said, “So did you put up the bust of Poe?”

“No, that was my grandpa,” Miss Kole shrugged, “He put it up in the fifties… No, I put up the bust of Lovecraft and Howard, Grandpa helped me, but they were my additions.”

“Oh, why did you pick them Penny?” Alice said feeling weird about using the short version of her boss’ first name.

“Poe was the father American Gothic literature and the detective novel,” Miss Kole said, “But Lovecraft is the father of Weird Fiction and Howard is the father of Red Sonja and Conan.”

“Do you really have a dungeon in your basement?” Alice asked.

“What is creepier? Having a dungeon in the basement or the attic?” Miss Kole smirked.

“That is the question,” Alice admitted.

*

“What a fucking weird dream,” Alice moaned as she got out of bed and made her way to the bathroom, “I just hope I didn’t make a fool of myself last night…”

Alice didn’t remember anything bad, she remembered walking home, but she knew that she would have been pulled over if she had driven, so she was paranoid over her dinner with her boss. But what weighed more on her mind was her dream… She had dreamed that she was in a sex sandwich between a naked Kristen Stewart pounding her butt and a slick and shiny Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman pumping her pussy with their strap-on dildos. Alice didn’t understand why she had dreamed that dream, but it left her hot and wet this morning.

What else does Alice do that weekend?
