An Eye-Based Hypnosis Quirk

Calming down from his excitement over his new quirk, Izuku realized that what he got was an eye based hypnosis quirk, but the original quirk was an eye based mind control quirk. Because he only drank a fraction of that person's blood, he only received about 20% of the quirks strength, explaining his version compared to the original.

Settling back into his Quirk-Scape, Izuku looked over Hypnosis, while trying to figure out its uses and limits. Eventually he determined that it would allow him to put someone into a hypnotic state after looking someone in the eye, where he could then use commands to change their behavior. However, he also learned that if the command was too far off from the original behavior of the person who he was hypnotizing, then the order wouldn't stick.

Adding about 300% of Quirk Factor to Hypnosis, Izuku was able to stretch the limit of what he could suggest by just a little more. He didn't want to add anymore Quirk Factor to the new quirk without testing it first, even though he had about 10,000% left of it in reserve.

"Izuku! I'm home," his mom called out to him from the front door of their house.

"Hi mom! I'm in the living room!" he shouted back.

Standing up, Izuku walked to meet her, and after giving her a hug, took some of the groceries she was carrying saying, "Here mom, let me help you with some of these bags."

After putting all of the groceries away, Inko used the opportunity to put her hands on both sides of his face and tell him, "Oh Izuku, your such a good son."

Stepping back, he scratched the back of his head before sheepishly responding, "Uh, thanks I guess."

Thinking quickly he asked, "Hey mom, could you help me with practicing my quirk? I was thinking of a new way to use it, and it needs to be used on another person. I was going over it in my Quirk-Scape earlier thought of its potential applications. It's not dangerous or anything, its just-"

Cutting him off, Inko placed her finger on his lips, before telling him, "Sure Izuku, I'll help you with your quirk," while giving him a smile, showing she was amused at his rambling.

When both walked over to the living room and sat down on the couch, Inko was the one to speak up, "All right, now how are we going-"

Before she could finish talking she was cut off, as Izuku had been looking into her eyes the whole time she had been talking and then activated Hypnosis. Trying out how he thought it would work, Izuku spoke the first instruction to his mom, "From now on, you won't mind ever helping me practice my quirk."

His mom's eyes were dull as she responded in a monotone voice saying, "From now on I wont mind ever helping you practice with your quirk."

Even though he could look away from his mom's eyes, he could still feel the influence of his third quirk, a connection to his mom that he could drop whenever he wanted which would stop the hypnosis.

Excited about the prospect of his new quirk working, Izuku told his mom another order, "When we finish practicing with my quirk, you won't ask what we practiced, and you will try not to think about it as much as possible."

When his mom replied, "When we finish practicing with your quirk, I won't ask what we practiced, and I will try not to think about it as much as possible."

Wanting to make it easier on himself to hypnotize his mom again if he needed it, he gave her a third command, "When we are speaking try to look me in the eye as much as possible."

The answer from his mom, "When we are speaking I will try to look you in the eye as much as possible," made Izuku give a small smile.

Unfortunately, because it was a new quirk, Izuku could feel the limit of his quirk coming up and decided to give his mom one last instruction. Thinking about how he planned to use his quirk later, Izuku really didn't want to be bothered or have his mom worried too much, "When I tell you I'm going out to hang out with friends, you'll accept that and not feel overly worried about me."

"When you tell me you're going out to hang out with friends, I'll accept that and not feel overly worried about you," Inko gave one last confirmation to his hypnotic commands.

Dropping the connection between him and his mom, Izuku watched as she blinked, her eye's regaining their normal sheen, before looking at Izuku and seeming startled, she started to ask, "Izuku, what-"

Assuring her, he told her, "Don't worry mom, we just finished practicing my quirk."

That seemed to settle her, as she stood up and walked to the kitchen telling him, "I'll start preparing dinner, I'll call you when it's ready Izuku."

Smiling as his mom walked away, Izuku also stood up and went to his room to plan what to do next. He knew that wanted to use Hypnosis again, but hadn't though of all of the details yet.
