An Enticement!

I told her that I would need some time to think about that. Then before i could think about it, it was my turn to have to disappear for a couple of days. My best friend from high school. Reuben was tying the knot with his high school sweetheart, Janice!. I did have a chance to bring Melissa along as my plus one, but I felt one look at Melissa and Rueben would ditch Janice as fast as possible.

Christ I was only gone for three days and I was already missing Melissa like crazy. HellI don’t know how many times I picked up the phone and called her just to hear her voice. How many times I took her picture out of my wallet and laid it on the pillow beside my head as I went to sleep.

So you can imagine what my mental state was when I got back home. Melissa was already at work when the taxi pulled up in front of my place. I called her, getting her voice mail and left her a message. About two hours later I got a message back.

“Wait until I get home then give me a half hour and come over!”

Melissa was due back at five! Looking at my watch I see that it was four! Only an hour and a half to wait before the most incredible girl in the world will be back in my arms. Then Melissa gripped the front of the straps holding the dress up over her shoulders.
