An Angry Coed
Stephanie Morris was furious. All of her life, she had never lost. She was elected to the homecoming court every year of high school, capping it with queen her senior year then prom queen. She won a scholarship, but she had finally lost. She was beaten out for Delta Beta sorority president and lost by one vote.
"I can't believe I lost to that idiot, Melanie!"
She had gone on a long walk to try to calm down, but it did not work. She just kept fuming. She cut down a path and saw something weird on the ground. Upon closer inspection it was some sort of monkey paw trinket.
She carefully picked it up and flipped the tag over: Make A Wish!
"Hmph! I wish I was president of that dumb ass sorority!"
One of the fingers moved, and Stephanie dropped the paw.
