An Abandoned Treehouse

"Looks like my bag is full, anyone still need some more trash?" Sarah asked the others.

"I think I'm done over here as well," Wendy replied.

"Same here," Ashley added.

The three turned to look at Sophie, but she wasn't there.

"Sophie? Where'd you go?" Sarah said aloud.

Uh oh, if they had lost Sophie in this huge forest, it could be a problem trying to find her and then find a way back. It was also going to get dark in a couple of hours, they needed to find her fast.

"SOPHIE!" Sarah shouted.

The other two started looking around to try and see where she could've gone.

"She was just with us a few minutes ago..." Ashley pondered.

"I feel like she must've gone that way," Wendy pointed.

"But we just came from there," Ashley said.

"Oh... right..." Wendy replied.

Sarah sighed. She couldn't exactly rely on Wendy.

"guyyyssss" Sophie's voice could suddenly be heard yelling from a distance.

"Sophie!" Sarah yelled, running toward the voice.

"Wait! Don't run blindly!" Ashley cried, running after them.

"Welp, not like I know the way if I didn't follow them," Wendy shrugged to herself as she ran after the two.

The girls left their trash bags and ran towards the source of Sophie's voice.

After only half a minute of jogging, Sophie came into view.

"Guys! Look what I found!" she chirped excitedly.

"Sophie! Why'd you go off on your own! You could've gotten lost!" Sarah huffed, already slightly out of breath from the little running she did.

"Sorry about that y'all, but look!" Sophie pointed upwards.

The other three looked up to see a large tree house perched atop a tree in the middle of a small clearing. It was strange how there was a tree at the center of a clearing, but Sarah wasn't questioning the location of the tree.

"How did a tree house get here?" she asked.

"Who cares! We should go explore it!" Sophie exclaimed, running toward the tree.

"Waaaiiit! What did I just sayyyy!" Sarah cried, running after her.

"Oh no, we're going to be in so much trouble," Ashley murmured as chased after them with Wendy, who was barely breaking a sweat.
