I look at the list and choose my four options. It’s not the most overpowering start, but certainly effective and unique if I do say so myself.

I chose Neo first because who doesn’t want their semen tasting delicious and drooling over the prospect of getting more? I chose An next because she gives me pheromones that make people like and trust me more with some other nice bonuses as well. Not to mention, they have a really nice combo when you put the two together.

I wanted another combo since it seems like combos are the way to go, so I picked female Lie Ren to give me the Like Mother, Like Daughter trait and to give me a way to influence people’s minds if the opportunity arises. The last one was hard as I didn’t know what to pick, but ultimately decided on Amber to get another combo and to get the ability to not be able to disturb people while they sleep. Now, if I wanted to, I could sneak into Team RWBY’s room and fuck Ruby while the rest of their team was none the wiser.

It was a good list if I do say so myself.

I finished picking my options and confirmed as a bright light engulfed me.

I smile at my new teammates as we walk off the stage. I gaze at my side and see a simple sword at my side. I’m thankful that I don’t have to fumble my way through initiation, but how am I supposed to survive without any powers?

Thankfully, this mysterious entity gave me a great semblance at least. Now, I can at least survive and kill some Grimm if I have to. Can I get any more powers, or am I all locked in?

Great. That means that I’ll have even more options in the future. I looked at the rest of my team and realized that I didn’t know why Neo decided to attend Beacon in the first place. I can guess that Amber’s at Beacon to hide from Cinder and her goons, while Ren should want to become a huntress to protect people from the Grimm.

“You were great out there, John. I’m happy to have someone skilled like you on my team,” said Amber as she led the way to our room.

I had no idea what she was talking about, but I’ll play along.

“Thanks, Amber, you were pretty good as well. I just didn’t think that our team formation would be based on chess pieces and random chance.”

Ren sighed, “I know Nora’s going to be upset that we're not on a team together, but this an opportunity for both of us to grow and get a bit of space from each other.”

Neo didn’t say anything but smirked a bit when Ren mentioned having space. Eventually, the four of us made it to our rooms and started unpacking our stuff. None of us had a particularly large amount of stuff, so we were able to fill out the room rather nicely without having to resort to bunk beds.

Ren and Amber left to grab a bite to eat and left the two of us to ourselves.
