Ambivalence

John's boner was being a bit difficult to contain. Yes his dress didn't leave very much room for imagination. Of course earlier his mother had mentioned her own growing erection. This did not leave her much room to talk. All the while dear old dad was torn between humor and disbelief. John took a few steps away toward the door. While neither of his parents were acting at all, he wasn't sure what to do but get away. Step by step he moved back toward the door. After a few steps he bumped up against it. Feeling for the knob with his hand he realized just how different things felt. The cold of the knob was much more apparent to his more sensitive skin.

"Wait!" His mother called. Neither he nor his father expected that out of her. The silence of the room was filled with tension. "It's okay" she said. "Let's all go home. We can deal with this there. Figure out our lives when we aren't in a place we don't know." Clearly saying this she was engaging deeper into her motherly instincts. Protecting the family and getting to shelter. She went over and grabbed both John and his father's wrist and immediately went out the door. B-lining for the car they walked as fast as they could in what they were wearing. Passing one or two people they didn't stop for anyone. Dr. Valentine was calling after them.

"Hold on! We aren't done!" She shouted following behind.

"Yes we are." John's mother said back. "If we want to see you again we will call you! Until then stay away from us!" Her confidence in the way she blew past the different people and rebuked Dr. Valentine was incredible. If John weren't moving at maximum speed he would say or do something. The second they got to the car his mother started it up not caring at all about seat belts. John's father and he climbed into the back seat as his mother made a speedy getaway.
