Amber hatches a plan

As the group moved out of the lounge area, Amber took the lead. She was thinking how she could use this to her advantage. She knew that that for all intents and purposes, Jack was now considered a woman by the company that sponsored the cruise. And she would do everything she could to convince Kim that Jack actually wanted this, that his joining was no accident.

Meanwhile, Jack, who was at the back of the group, took in his surroundings. He noted that all the women were similarly dressed as he was. And that the men were wearing orange jumpsuits and had thicker bracelets on their wrists.

The first thing he decided he was going to do was go the one of the numerous shops on the ship and get himself a change of clothes. Then he would simply explain to whoever was in charge that there was a mistake. He was a man.

Finding their cabin, Amber unlocked the door and walked in, followed by the rest. Making her way directly to the room’s computer screen she started typing. While the other three sat down, each lost in their own thoughts.

Finding what she was looking for, Amber read out loud. “All participants are required to be properly attired for the activity they are currently participating in. All participants are required to be properly attired when not engaged in any activities, this is to facilitate the evacuation of this ship in the event of an emergency.”

She paused for a moment before continuing.

“All participants will engage in off study activities, according to their relationship status.”

“In order to maintain the health of participants, workouts will be required on a bi-daily basis.”

“Any violations of these or any directive regarding the study will result in immediate fines.”

When Amber finished she stood and glared at Jack, who visibly paled. “Any idea you had about staying in this cabin just went out the window, along with that fact that, up until this morning, you were a man!”

“Now, let’s look at what you agreed to have done and participate in. I’m sure you made some wonderful choices Jacki!”

Grabbing Jack by the wrist, she dragged him over to the computer and placed his bracelet against the scanner pad.
