Alicia opens the door and your mom and her guests walk in

As I heard the knock, I couldn't help but pale slightly as my eyes widened. Surely Alicia didn't expect me to be completely naked in front of my own mother! I was a bit of in a hurry to head her off as she walked for the door, but she beat me to it. This also was detrimental to me as in my haste I completely missed where my feet were going and tripped over the throw rug, ending up on my belly and a bruised pride.

Then, just as I was trying to get up to stop her again, I looked up and blanched. For there stood my mother and her friends, who had been chatting together up until this point. However now, all conversation had stopped and they were all staring at me in a mixture of looks. What was slightly more surprising was that not one of them looked disgusted or horrified by my nudity, but in fact amused!

I wanted to find the nearest hole to curl up in and hide from all the eyes on me, and it didn't help when I saw Alicia standing beside my mother with a big grin on her face.

"Erica?" mom asked. "Why on earth are you naked honey?"

This raised different inquiries among her and her friends, but not one would look away from me. Couldn't they see how embarrassed I was?! Why wouldn't they help by getting me dressed?

Just as I opened my mouth to tell the truth of things, Alicia jumped in as usual. Damn it!

"Oh! Mrs. Valford. Erica and I were studying together, but she couldn't concentrate well. So I suggest she study in the nude. That way, she can get her mind off other things, and focus more on studying. Which would help, because she could get dressed after she was done!"

What?! Was that her plan all along, to get me---to-you know what, forget it. I wouldn't be surprised anymore if my entire family tree saw me naked in public and private places both, and were used to it. I opened my mouth again to tell mom the truth, and hopefully get some clothes on me, but was stopped by the most shocking thing.

Mom was nodding her head, as were her friends!

"That sounds like a good incentive to study, I guess. I was just surprised to see her in the buff like this, but if it helps her study..."

I couldn't believe this! Mom was convinced, and if I knew anything about my mother, it was that she was impossible to budge when she makes her mind up about something! This was the worst, as I had just run out of any hope to get dressed. Though I could still run for Alicia's room and put something on, screw her refusal to let me.
