Aftermath

Everything that comes after is a blur. The incoming patrol quickly ferries the passengers to Malamute City, where they are compensated with a free night’s stay at the city’s premier hotel, Husky Hotel.

Eris finds herself alone in her room with her thoughts.

‘All those guards died because of me. What kind of hero am I? When it came down to it, I couldn’t move at all. I feel so helpless. Am I just going to let other people fight for me? Do I even have the strength to change anything?’

Just then, she hears a knock at the door.
