After school

The bell rang, Adam tossed his things into the bag and went to the train station. After long train ride, he finaly arived home. There he tossed his bag in the corner of the room and sat behind his desk. He turned on his computer and started watching videos.

While he was watching videos the socks climbed out of the bag. They climbed on top of his bed, but at that moment Adam started turning around because he wanted to take something from his bag. In attempt to not be spotted they both colapsed on his bed. He went to his bag and he picked up a Rubik's cube from his bag. He was about to put it on the table when he noticed two white socks with two blue stripes on them on his bed.

"These socks aren't mine," he said. He picked them up and began to wonder whose socks were they. Then he realized that they were the same socks that Kate was wearing today. He didn't know why but he got sudden urge to smell them. He put them to his nose and he took a breath. It had a really nice smell. Suddenly he threw them on the bed. "what am I doing?" He said. A little embarrassed by what he had just done, he sat down at the table. He started solving the cube. First few solves weren't that great, but after he warmed up he started to get really good times. He even screamed "Yessss !" a few times.

That seemed to get the socks attention. They quietly dropped from the bed to the floor and crawled to his chair. Then they slowly climbed on his legs and on his lap. He was so preoccupied with what he was doing that he didn't even notice them. The socks were watching what Adam was doing, but they didn't understand it because they never seen something like this. Suddenly Adam heard a girl's voice say : "what are you doing?". "I am solving a Rubik's cube" Adam said. Then he froze because he realised that he is home alone. He started looking for the source of the sound, but he didn't see anybody. "Down here!" said the sock. He looked down in confusion and couldn't believe his eyes.

He saw Kate's socks filled to her proportions standing on his legs.
