Affection Multiplication Value [Main Character]

"That could be interesting," John smirks as his hand expands a field labeled affection multiplier. The description reveals that the number associated will multiply the current level and rate at which his interactions with those listed will adjust their level of affection toward him. There also appear to be toggles for it to only affect Positive changes in affection, Negative, or even to **** adjust the affection to be either romantic or platonic. He has decided that if he is going to the main character he might as well make it feel that way.

"Miku," John asks, "How would I delineate global changes to effect only those of certain genders?"

"If you set a field to be the sex you wish to alter, followed by and asterisk (*) you will effect all that label applies to. By default global changes will impact all humans and a tag must be applied to expand beyond that."

"Thank you."

Looking back to the field, he adds [Male*] and set the marks on Only Positive, and Platonic. John then adds [Female*] and set to marks to Only Positive, and Romantic. For both he adds a value of 2, thinking to himself that it may look like a small value, but this is going to change the baseline way everyone is going to look at him, and he has already adjusted himself to be pretty great, he will also will no longer have any chance of getting on anyone's bad side or fall out of favor with them, and it is a multiplier on every possible interaction he will have with them. So rather simply snapping his fingers and turning the world into his own personal harem he decides that 2 should allow him to still enjoy the journey on the way there.

Looking around he is sure that he won't see any changes, but as he goes to look at his display and begin making a few more changes his phone lets out a notification, then another and a few more. John takes a look, a wall of text messages are waiting for him. His bosses boss, his sister, his mom, several girls from the office, that he regularly helps that he also know beyond a shadow of a doubt are married, all sending him something along the lines of a "Good morning," and a wish that he is having a good day. He scratches his head and realize, right... he made every one of them **** to have romantic affection for him, so those that likely had a relatively strong platonic affection for him now had that affection flipped to romantic, and doubled. "Oh well, shouldn't be a problem," he shrugs off the thought. It will be nice to no longer feel invisible, he thinks to himself glancing at the notifications. Now what to do, what to do...
