Adcock Christmas: Leah finds a spent arrow...

Leah stopped in her tracks as she noticed something glinting in the distance. As she got closer, she realized it was an arrow stuck in a tree trunk. The tree itself was interestingly shaped and she marveled at the design that nature of lead to crafting the tree in a V like shape.

Curiosity got the best of her and she walked over to get a closer look. It was one of Jonathan's arrows from his archery set.

She chuckled to herself, remembering how he had jokingly called himself Legolas earlier. She marveled at the tree and thought to utilize the natural V shape of the tree to amusingly reach through and snag the arrow from the other side. But as she tried to reach through the V shaped trunk to retrieve the arrow, disaster struck.

Her torso got stuck as she stretched through the deceptively welcoming arms of the tree and no matter how hard she tried to pull out of the V she was stuck and just couldn't free herself. Panic started to rise in her chest as she thought about being stuck out here alone for who knows how long.

"Jonathan!" She yelled out, hoping he could hear her as he was playing Legolas out in the woods. "Help!" Surely he would hear. She tried to call out a few times but to no avail. She took her time to wiggle and reach her phone. She couldn’t reach it as her arms were stuck. Real worry began to fill her as she realized how cold it was out there. Surely they would come after her before it got too dark.

She thought she heard a twig snap and she tried to turn to see if someone was there.

“Hello?!” she cried out “Please help me out here!”

Leah struggled to turn back and see who it might be.
