As the night went on, the group continued to drink and play with the VR headset. Jonathan and Luke took turns trying out different games while Leah watched, occasionally joining in on the fun. Jonathan took on the VR headset and was determined to beat a level they had all been having trouble passing. It was some kind of an adventure game Leah wasn’t familiar with.

“I’m gonnnnnna beat this one this time. No matter how hic long it takes.” Jonathan was slurring his words as he put the VR on and the earphones in for maximum immersion.

Leah, barely conscious herself, sat in a haze of alcohol and a mix of exhaustion and excitement.
