Acts of desperation to survive

There's a number of cut-throat types stalking the narrow passageways with their eyes on both of you. By expression, you can tell some can tell who the two of you are, and are wise enough to back away. Some are observant in different ways, two people running naked have nothing you can stick them up for, and still others are just curious as to where this odd display is going, and where it may lead to. Panic makes the time stretch out, and the few blocks you travel feel like miles. Nihara quietly points to a building that is actually well-kept and comparatively clean, compared to the decrepit state of the area around it. You both hurry in, looking to see who all is seeing you go in.

A distinct smell hits your nose as soon as you close the door behind you. Heavy, sweaty sex, which can't be masked by any number of the strong perfumes running through the establishment. You look around and see a number of oversized couches and chairs, well cared for despite their obvious age. The whole experience is new and stimulating, as you sense your erection beginning to grow involuntarily. Nihara can more immediately recognize what kind of establishment she led you to, though she regrets it "Shit. Kromdor, we should leave here. This is not what I hoped it would be" she says quietly.

Her plan to leave the building without being noticed is trounced by the madame of the establishment. A Dragonborn, something you had only heard word of, her red scale skin seems almost brown in the dim candle light. Broad framed, she cuts an imposing silhouette, despite wearing rather no weapons and dressed rather proactively, only seeing her top portion, hidden behind the counter she works behind. "Well well well, what do we have hear? Two vagrants trying to walk out on their bill? Two newlyweds hoping to use the honeymoon suite? Or two **** strangers advertising their qualifications for a particular line of work? I have solutions for all of the above, and more besides"

Nihara tries to speak up as she makes for the door, but you hold her still and speak from a position of honesty, not yet understanding where you are "We're just looking for a place to hide miss, and a favor for some clothes." Your partner quietly mutters "shit".

"A human, and an orc, nude, covered in dirt, sand, and smelling of rot and despair, asking for charity?" The dragonborn puts her slender claws under her elongated face as she considers "Yes, yes. That would make sense, I suspect I know exactly who the two of you are." She starts to laugh to herself "Isn't that fascinating. If charity is what you're looking for, I'm afraid we're fresh out. Of course, whore houses aren't typically known for carrying any, Kromdor." She emphasized your name with great care, despite you not introducing yourself "So, you and Nihara here are an item after all, and you managed to escape somehow? Nobody's ever done that, at least not that anyone can remember. Good for you both, genuinely. Perhaps we can help each other"

Nihara recognized she was too far into this conversation to protest further, and likely wouldn't get a better offer anywhere else "What do you propose as an arrangement?"

"One days honest work from the both of you in exchange for some clothes, some warm food, and some coin, with the added bonus of absolute secrecy. Waddya say?"
